When you’ve been on a massive knitting kick for the past couple months like I have, and have a strong hyperfixation, you come up with some fun ideas.
Behold… my homemade Scratch beanie!
It took a while for the fabric glue to dry so the black fabric wouldn’t fray, and sewing on the button eyes were a PAIN, but it was worth it!
How to finger knit! I made this for my storyboarding class and thought I’d share it. Finger knitting is very fun, I’d recommend trying it!
(Also I say scissors but really, if you’re desperate, you can just use your teeth)
made a design for a 221B wallpaper blanket! my commissions are OPEN (examples and tos on this page) if you're interested in this or another design. rbs are highly appreciated :]
Made an agender flag blanket cause no one else was going to
A couple friends in my work group wanted to do a craft night. They decided on a finger knit blanket as the project. Because I knit I was asked if I could teach/lead.
So i made a “sample” blanket (I’ll probably give it to a co-worker who just bought their first house). This is a very heavy blanket and should be very warm and cozy.
Here is the finished blanket
And bonus of Stormy kitty testing it as I was making it

Me and my son I fingerknit
ngl I'm still kinda riding the high of everyone but especially the actors complimenting my two and a half meter long finger knit scarf at the ren faire. They were acting like it was some cool new previously unknown fiber arts form and is as a master.
I learned that as a fun activity in elementary school art class and created that scarf to help me focus in physics. Then I was like "this is totally bro's style," and gifted it to my friend. And people were so impressed and wanted to know how I do it. And finger knitting makes such terrible scarves they are full of holes. Anyways so proud and happy
For those curious finger knitting is basically just using your fingers as a look and I want to see if I can make a better scarf if I ever get my hands in a loom.
