These were supposed to be finished today but I am woefully behind due to four days of headaches. I did figure out a more efficient way to hold the yarn and that is making the second glove go faster but it’s still slow work. I am really enjoying watching the pattern appear and trying to ignore the mistakes. Hopefully my mom will love them.

Presenting part three in a series of library-themed knitting projects: Ranganathan's Mitts (from Ravelry). Named after Indian mathematician, and founder of the Five Laws of Library Science! Made out of a silk yarn, because I am tired of being in pain over my own fiber choices.

The second law of library science, "Every reader his or her book," means that librarians are to serve a wide collection of patrons, acquire literature to fit a wide variety of needs, and refrain from judging what specific patrons choose to read. Librarians should respect that everyone is different and that everyone has different tastes regarding the books they choose.

The third law of library science, "Every book its reader," means all books have a place in the library, even if only a small demographic might choose to read them.

The Gayest gloves in town!!! These may have been my favourite project to date, and the fact that I finished them the morning of my birthday makes them even more special 😊🏳️‍🌈🌈

I made a hat, cause I failed at knitting fingerless glove thing, only finished one cause it ended as a failure. It’s a hat now- so.. it’s all good I guess..?

Bunny Cable Fingerless Mittens made for my Dad's birthday!

Both were made using Red Heart Gemstone yarn in Citrine. I absolutely love this yarn, there's so many cool colour combos and fades in it.

Frogged the second mitt cuz it turns out the intended recipient does not have two left hands. Mock asked if the RH glove could have an alien instead of a heart? Yes, yes it can.
