Bonus info:

Ghoul mostly refers to members of I. vulgaris, especially domesticated sub-species, called I. vulgaris vecare that are the majority of the ghouls working in the ministry.

I. vulgaris vecare has four main breeds: Fire, water, air and earth.

Multi ghouls usually are used as an umbrella term for ghouls without clear classification, but is mostly a descriptive than a valid scientific term. It can refer to wild members of genus Infernide, most often I. vulgaris or even feral I. vulgaris vecare that are too mixed to have one clear dominant element.

Wild members of the genus lack the clear deviate of the base elements.

Quintessence ghouls however are I. via lactea vocare and lack as diverse breeds as I. vulgaris vecare. Mostly we have quint, nether, aether and void breeds. But they mostly have an diverse aesthetic and magical differences. It's much rarer to summon a purebred one.

All members of genus Infernide can (usually) interbreed, with their offsprings having ability to further reproduce. However many ghouls have clear preference towards their species, sometimes even breed due to some species/breeds being not the most compatible for natural breeding.

Ghoul OCs! Meet Sear and Vermillion.

Some infos under the cut for anyone interested (it's not much yet) Also Sear's design was made by my incredible talented friend @batcadillac who gifted me this baby <3

Sear: He is an earth/fire hybrid, partially a hellhound kinda? He was abused for like ghoul dog fighting until he lost too many matches and was thrown out to the streets where he miserably wandered the back alleys suffering from his wounds and preparing to just wither away and die until a clergy member finds him. His skin is heating up when angry and sometimes leaving marks like scorched wood/bark. Sear is like walking incense when he uses scented oil or smth on his body cause it seeps into it like wood and with increased body heat he just, always smells nice. He flinches every time someone raises their voice and won't come out of his room. Was hiding away for the first few months at the abbey. Found a friend in a water ghoul working at the infirmary who treated his wounds when he first came in

Vermillion: Most call her Millie. She's a fire ghoulette, 1,58m tall. She works as a tour coordinator for the band. Making sure the ghouls and Papa have it comfy, at the venues and in the tour bus. Helps out where she's needed as staff She's very bubbly and bouncy, loves laughing. Fell in love with some more sublte lolita and steampunk fashion and decorates everything she can with fairy lights
