SFW Ghoul HCs

While they have animalistic traits, most ghouls are a mix of multiple animals. It’s very rare for a ghoul to have just one, though there are exceptions. Some ghouls may have more humanoid features, some more animalistic ones.

Fire and Water ghouls feel very deeply, and are genuinely the most emotionally expressive ghouls, be it negative or positive.

All ghouls purr. It may sound different among the elements, but they all purr in some sense.

Touching a ghouls’ horns and tail is incredibly offensive. Those are basically built in weapons, and touching them may come off as a challenge. However, if a ghoul is very close with someone, they may be more lenient, even initiating contact (wrapping their tail around someone, two ghouls entwining tails, playful head butting, etc..).

Ghouls heal faster and better than humans, but broken horns and injuries sustained during transitions may lead to permanent changes in appearance.

Quintessence ghouls have black tears.

Ghoul eyes glow in the dark, with the level varying among elements.

They have stronger senses than humans, and thus are typically more alert.

Some ghouls are herbivores, some omnivores, and some carnivores. Additionally, fire ghouls are able to consume coals.

Very rarely will a ghoul attack a human. If they do, it’s usually for two reasons: they felt threatened, or the human attempted to harm another pack mate/a member of the clergy. If there is no intervention, these attacks are almost always fatal.

Ghouls are very physical. They hug, play fight, stand close to each other, clean each other, etc.. They will scent their friends and mates after periods of separation.

VERY high sex drives.

They experience heats and ruts. However, it isn’t always dependent on genitalia- symptoms of a heat can be experienced by ghouls without a uterus, and symptoms of a rut can be experienced by ghouls with a uterus. Some ghouls may even experience both.

Heats/ruts happen once a season. It’s not uncommon for packs and bonded pairs to have their cycles sync. Additionally, if a human is mated with a ghoul, they might even experience the sensations of a heat/rut, albeit less extreme.

Orgies are very common. The more, the better.

Sex in the pit is very different from topside sex. Topside, ghouls have a more stable manifestation, and can feel more.

Fire ghouls and quintessence ghouls tend to be the most dominant, though on different ends of the spectrum (fire being harsher/stricter, quint being more service-y).

They’ve got crazy stamina. They can go all day and all night.

Sex between ghouls with a platonic relationship isn’t uncommon- they just like feeling good.
