Mother? Can you hear me? I turned the oven off I swear. The fire it wasnt my fault I promise. Mother? Please wake up, please. Open your eyes Mother. At least the pie is done.

Cinder
Like Sophie walking into Howl's moving castle, she came into my life unexpected.
She saw me, the little hard working fire that I am and smiled with such loving warmth.
All I had ever know was the coldness of rejection towards what made me, me.
I was told I burned too hot,
or not hot enough.
Maybe if I used a different fuel source,
Only then I would be worthy of being called a burning star.
But those who use to handle the matches would pile more on my weak embers and suffocate my light out.
Ignoring my pleas for oxygen.
Then, as I was about to extinguish,
She spoke 4 simple words....
"I like your spark" she said
so simple
so pure
Setting my dying embers ablaze again.
And that was enough for me to beam throughout the night sky.
i am ignited, flames of fear lapping at my feet. i try to cry out, to ask for help but ash fills my mouth. bitter, much like my regard for myself. mind made of matches, i am my own arsonist.
Forgive them, cause they know not
People who rage
Are fires,
burning within
Who don't know how to put them out
Or stop them
And they spread them,
Igniting each person they come across
But you can be the firebreak
Between that person and the next
Not risking your life to extinguish their fury
But too strong to burn.
Crackling Fire
Under the sky, as she weaves The clouds into lace In the darkness Of this place My eyes open and I wish I wish the Beautiful Lies Would stay with me Just for tonight But spinning and swriling Whirling planets and stars Out of line with the truth From horrorscopes Some '80s news paper It's over for now Back to this room Back to the lamplight that floods My eyes Forever gone in olbvion Are those emerald eyes Snap crinkling paper crackling fire Suddenly gone away Back to this place Back to the bronze lamp Back to the old dusty mirror Back to the memories that flood me Of the people I wish I was Under the sky Wave upon wave of spring grace Never alone, always lonely Quotes I'll forget From the people in my mind Snap crash waves fire Glowing, twinkling, roaring- bright I'm back here again Stuck in this room Like a butterfly Ready to burst from a cacoon Crashing waves Crackling fire When the world Makes us liers
With ember eyes And a burning gaze, Kerosene lips And a firestarter tongue, You lit me up And swallowed me whole.
