I'm thinking of writing your Fired AU... But with a bittersweet ending.

*looks left and right* more scorned lovers?
-Scorned lovers attacked Paris and were more focused on making the city pay then actually getting the miraculous.
-Fu considered this his greatest failure. whether it was picking both of them or going back on that decision.
-There is no way that the new Ladybug and Chat noir could handle this akuma alone.
-Fu decided to pull out his last trick in the arsenal.
-Give ALL the miraculous away.
-He created a team of miraculous wielders with him at the helm.
-It was a battle that rocked Paris.
-It was a true Heroes day.
-But in the end, inexperienced teens were no match for the scorned lovers.
-The power of love is way too strong.
-Fu admitted defeat.
Can we get a bit more from scorned lovers?
-Fu regretted his decision.
-The old man had made a lot of mistakes. But he had fired the two most competent heroes that have ever used the miraculous.
-The new Ladybug and chat noir were fine and did the job okay, but they were not enough for the now akumatized duo.
-Scorned Lovers were two powerful akuma. They were connected via a red thread which was tied around their wrists.
-They turned Paris into a fiery hellscape and the Ladybug and chat noir were easily outmatched. Fu needed to step in.
-He had given the two fire proof power ups and charged in.
-The three on two battle was a lot more even with the old man helping, but The scorned duo were relentless and just as cunning as they were as heroes.
-Fu was taken down, and so were the new Ladybug and chat noir.
-Hawkmoth had finally won.
-Fu knew how powerful Love was, and he had turned it into burning hatred towards Paris. He had made his greatest mistake.
Fired au, except Marinette reaches him right when he is akumatized and tries to talk him down and he accidentally hurts her
-Adrien told her to run when the akuma attached to him. He was fighting it, he warned her to run.
-Marinette refused to run. She hugged him, trying to help him fight the anger, the hatred, the hawkmoth.
-He was able to fight it longer, but to no avail, he gave in.
-His transformation sent Marinette flying back.
-it burned her.
-Scorned soul ran to her, she was hurt, his horror seeing Marinette injured by his emotions.
-He yelled at hawkmoth. His emotions calmed, he lowered his heat and he moved her to the nurses office.
-He swore he would comeback to check on her.
-”I don’t want you getting hurt by my anger anymore.”
-Marinette was fine, but she knew Scorned soul was strong, She transformed and went to find him.
-She saw him standing on a roof. Not moving.
-Ladybug approached. slowly.
Scorched soul pulled out the akumatized item.
-”Cure me, and do miraculous healing. Marinette was hurt by my anger. I don’t want anyone innocent to get hurt by my emotions. Especially not her.”
-Ladybug felt her heart ache as he said that.
-Hawkmoth didn’t force Adrien, he didn’t want to hurt his son. So sure enough a quick de-evilization.
-Lucky charm happened. The burns Marinette had received were now healed.
-Fu had been observing Adrien the entire time.
-Adrien had proven despite his faults that he was indeed worthy of being the cat miraculous wielder.
-He told Ladybug that he had been watching chat noir and that he passed his tests and that he was going to let him back in.
-Ladybug agrees, and that she wants to apologize to Chat noir about not doing anything against the firing.
-Adrien finds a box on his bed. He opened it and sure enough, there was the cat miraculous.
-Plagg popped out and hugged Adrien.
-While happy to see Plagg. Adrien was unsure of how to feel about the whole situation.
Why don't you make an akumatized variation of Adrien based off his inadequacies and hidden darkest feelings.
Emoticon is based on his hidden emotions and his inadequacies as Adrien.
Scorned soul is based on his inadequacies as chat noir and hidden anger and resentment towards his role that was taken from him.
Chat blanc in Quit au is the personification of his darkest feelings and inadequacies as chat noir

ML angst au: Fired au
- Fu had been watching Ladybug and Chat noir in their battles, he slowly starts seeing the attitude of Chat noir rise up. He is becoming more of a brat, more of a hinderance then a help.
-After some thought, Fu decides he is going to rectify this mistake.
-He calls For Ladybug to get chat noir and to meet him at a specific location.
-Chat noir and Ladybug arrive to find Jade turtle. His eyes serious.
- “Chat noir, de-transform and hand back your miraculous.”
-The statement was a shock to both heroes,
- “Your reckless actions and entitled Arrogance have become far more detrimental to stopping Hawkmoth. I have given you time to hopefully rectify your actions, but you only seem to drive the point that you are not worthy.”
- Ladybug tries to speak up, in defense of Chat noir. but Jade turtle shuts it down.
- “I have made up my mind. As of right now, Chat noir is not worthy of holding on to the miraculous. Ladybug, turn away so that Chat noir may remove his ring.”
-Chat noir looks to ladybug, his partner, his unrequited love. As she looks at chat noir, her face clearly showing protest, before reluctant resignation. She turned away.
-Chat noir felt the utter betrayal that Ladybug had done. But that compounded with being told to give up Plagg, lose his freedom, lose the one thing that helped him escape that hell.
- “Chat noir. Relinquish your miraculous.”
-”Ladybug please... tell him not to...”
-Jade turtle tossed him a box to put the ring in. Ladybug did not turn around.
-Chat noir glared at the turtle hero. He took off the ring. The expression on his face as he did caused the Jade turtle to pause. The negative emotion was so fierce, he was certain Hawkmoth felt it.
-Adrien put the ring in the box, before Plagg could even say anything. He closed it. Tossing it to Fu.
- Adrien turned and stormed off without saying a word.
-Hawkmoth could feel the roaring might of this negative emotion. It was so tempting, so deliciously powerful, it was as if all of Paris was blocked. Hawkmoth couldn't ignore it.
-”Adrien? What could have you feeling so angry?”
- Hawkmoth didn't act on it. It was his son. He would wait. He did not want to drag Adrien into it.
- Adrien’s mood was ice cold. Adrien’s sunshine smile and warmth was replaced with an ice cold glare and a frown.
-Even Chloé didn't approach Adrien. Lila tried and was ignored, only an annoyed glance and him pulling his arm away
-Marinette was utterly shocked by this cold hearted version of Adrien.
-Alya had asked Nino about it and he had no clue either.
-There were no akuma for several days. Hawkmoth Tried to find a new person to akumatize, but the powerful emotions of Adrien acted as a shield that prevented him from even feeling another sad soul.
-Nooru pointed out that as long as Adrien is like this, they won't be able to akumatize anyone else.
-Adrien’s mood only seemed to grow worse as the days went on.
-Marinette tried to approach Adrien, to ask what was wrong.
- Adrien actually responded.
- “How would you feel if you had something that made you happy ripped away from you and a person you loved not only watched it happen, but actively did nothing to stop it from happening?”
- Marinette was shocked by the words, they felt so angry, and yet somehow familiar.
- “I wouldn't feel good.”
- Adrien sighed. “Please leave me alone, I don't want to take my anger out on my friends... That mean old man....”
-Marinette looked confused, But she left Adrien be. Marinette was already feeling horrible about what happened to Chat noir, but now Adrien is upset to. It was awful. Marinette began to fear if Adrien gets akumatized.
-Hawkmoth eventually caves and sends an akuma. Maybe Adrien could be the one to help him get the miraculous. If he didn't, he would at least help his son vent his anger.
- Adrien gets akumatized right in front of Marinette.
-Adrien tries to fight it, but Hawkmoth gets him.
- “ Scorned Soul, I am Hawkmoth. I am giving you the power to take your anger out on the ones responsible for your betrayal.”
-”Yes, Hawkmoth. That turtle and Ladybug will get what they deserve.”
-He transformed. His hair becomes wild. His eyes blood red his costume similar to dark cupid but the colors reversed, with the red gloves and boots, and a majorly black costume. He has an eye mask that looks like a broken heart. He has a red heart on fire on his chest, with a dagger through the top. He has the power to harness his burning rage. Shooting fireballs from his hands. breathing fire. As well as a large samurai blade.
-He runs off to find that old man, and he knows Ladybug will come after him.
-Marinette stood in shock as she realized that Adrien was her chat noir. And Fu was in a Lot of danger.
I feel that post hellfired au adrien would go into guilt fueled borderline catatonic state for the chaos he caused
If they managed to beat him, Adrien would definitely have a break down. Probably begging that someone just end this.
Carapace and Rena rouge would be seeing this and just feel hallow inside. They knew this kid, and they couldn’t see the emotional turmoil inside him.
Ladybug would see the blond just shattered by everything that has happened to him.
Ladybug would go to Gabriel and make that man see the s*** his son has been going through.
Get that boy the help he needs.
