Could you draw Silverbell Cookie trying to care of the twins for the first time? [Also, what would his reaction be. One minute he's just a knight on patrol. The next he's now basically a single parent from his, enemies to lovers to probably enemies again, situationship. Also how is he going to explain this to the other knights.]

Oh trust me Silverbell had his hands FULL these little trouble makers kept him up day and night. But more than anything he missed the fact he’d probably never properly see Black Sapphire again not with the upcoming war and their allegiances set clearly on opposing sides.

He tried hiding the truth of who the other parent was for the longest time, after all he didn’t need his fellow knights questioning his loyalty. He loves his babies dearly and is conflicted on his love for their father.

But he’s not alone by the time the twins show up the gingergang has yet to visit the spire so he’s got a community in White Lily’s friends. Though after the spire things are a bit tense…

And if you’re wondering if he tells Lily his closet friend the true father of his children you’d be wrong! Not even Lily can get the full scoop til it’s way later.

Honestly Bell is whole mess after Elder Faerie croaks he’s definitely struggling a lot with his choices past and present. He’s not feeling it.

What's the story behind Sugarfly's and Black Sapphire's pregnancy?

I am dying to know.

Well I am glad you asked my friend. I’ll go with them separately because don’t want confuse anyone.

🦋Sugarfly’s Pregnancy

Sugarfly was about 2 months pregnant when she left the garden. (For clarification Pavlova’s curse works that if he eats a certain amount of sugar he shifts into a baby form, he tends to starve himself to keep his adult form. He was not shifted when they conceived Iced Vovo do not worry).

She found out in her trip back to the faerie kingdom that she was expecting, she had specifically requested to go alone and rejected the help of the hollyberrians because she figured it would make her fellow faeries doubt if she was truly willing to reject the beast. It took so long to get back because was trying to avoid the Beast Domains, specifically the spire.

Getting back to the kingdom she was on a hunt when she ran into Hollyberry and co, since well there was no food in the kingdom. That’s where this art [1] takes place. From the stress of everything she went into labour soon after coming back to the kingdom and that’s how Iced Vovo was born a month early.

Some more tid bits about Sugarfly’s pregnancy. Faerie babies are usually small grub like creatures who are very helpless and require the warms of fellow grubs to survive, they stay like this for 6 months or so before doing their first molt into what looks like a 6 months old normal baby. They don’t drink milk since faeries have no milk ducts, but do drink tree sap for the first part of their life, it’s traditional for babies to drink from the silver seal tree as their first meal. It’s to insure they will be blessed by the virtues.

So with that all out of the way, Iced Vovo was a very big baby at least for Sugarfly, faeries aren’t meant to birth this size of newborn. So if it wasn’t for Pure Vanilla’s support magic she definitely would have died in labour. Poor girl nearly saw her king for a second.

She was also mainly craving sugar and coconut when pregnant with Iced Vovo. Which is obvious for the sugar part but coconut is explained by Iced Vovo the biscuit having coconut shaving on it.

Iced Vovo took 6 hours to be born and gave Sugarfly major shock.

🍇Black Sapphire’s pregnancy

Now Black Sapphire didn’t have the most luxurious time expecting the twins. He was about a month or so along when the seal was broken and the beasts were released. Why did he keep the baby when he knew the silver fae was absolutely reconsidering their relationship since his beloved king is dead and world has been plunged into chaos of beastly nature. Well despite what he’d like to believe Black Sapphire has a heart and feelings.

That ruin everything because there is no way you can be loyal to your master and also keep up this relationship. He’d hoped that Silverbell would yknow give up his oath to the silver kingdom and join him in the spire and his master would not kill the faerie on impact. Delusional this man is, doesn’t help that his lover boy is made of lilys which are incredibly toxic and cause the utter worst morning sickness anyone could ask for. Even being posion type and immortal it does not negate the hurling of your guts each hour.

He tried to hide it as much as he possibly could but twins are not each to hide even at small faerie size. And Black Sapphire was lucky it was his mother who found out first, yes the Head Rumour Weaver was crafted from the same magic as he was and could be considered a parent. It was a moment of weakness that Black Sapphire found himself in an embrace like a child again worried about the future.

She helped support him through most of it, though her help could only go so far after all her existence cease to exist outside the spire, being a monster not a cookie.

The next person to find out was of course Capple, who was appalled she wasn’t told first. But was thrilled to be an aunt, and didn’t quite understand why Master wouldn’t be happy to have more minions, who cares if their faeries just means better spies. Capple offered to cover for his absents originally in exchange for gifts but a talking to from Rumour Weaver made her begrudgingly do it for free because “family helps family bleh”.

The twins arrived late which freaked out their father an awful lot. Nothing going as planned what divas truly his children. He chose to have them alone near faeriewood so they wouldn’t be born into Deceit, because sure he was a servant of it but he’d prefer his kids be born free cookies. Pregnancy hormones really made him go soft looking back he finds himself ridiculous for thinking such things.

Those little shits (affectionate) took a bloody 36 hours to be born. And it was a miracle only spores bothered him and not a silver knight. But holding them both he decided to name one after his own little sister being Star Apple (that’s a real fruit btw and no it’s not an apple in the shape or a star). And firefly his little lights of the world of darkness.

He was lucky enough to catch Silverbell on a patrol which was a bit awkward. Silverbell didn’t know how he felt about Black Sapphire after all it wasn’t as simple as before the beasts were out he wasn’t just waiting for orders he had them and they hurt the faerie kingdom. But he still wanted to believe he could change. So when he saw the twins and Sapphire begin him to just forgot about him since there was no way Shadow Milk would allow them to live let alone be more than pawns. He couldn’t say no.

Taking that babies he asked Black Sapphire if he’d stay with him in the faerie kingdom that his master couldn’t reach them here. But Black Sapphire shook his head his sister was still back in the spire and he couldn’t abandon her, his fate is sealed.

So bitter sweet. Both are so incredibly loyal to their causes which do not aline.

Does Shadow Milk ever find out about Black Sapphire's pregnancy?

Oh he does unfortunately, and is rather unimpressed. Though he finds out when Firefly gets exiled, and their only option is to swear loyalty to the master of deceit. So Sapph is pretty good at keeping secrets.

By that time Elder Flower Wine (shadowsapphire daughter) has been born and well grown so the obvious sign that she had been named after a faerie is blatant which shmilk is not so happy about. I mean he already wasn’t much of a father to her anyway so his disownment is rather for show than anything.

He cannot deny that Sapph is his best minion and he would be dealing with an awful lot of work if he got rid of him (considering his weakened state after Silent Salt’s British greeting). But gosh things are tense in that spire.

I wanna keep my answers vague ish since the fic is still in progress but this is so far forward I’ll see if I can come up with more just ask what you want to know.

Will Pavlova ever meet Iced Vovo and will Black Sapphire ever reunite with his babies?

Well yes and no for both. With the update yes Pavlova has a real chance of seeing his baby girl again. Even for another sugarlovaling

But Sapphy and his twins, not so much. Safe to say the Blackbell ship is on the rocks rn. You birth this guy’s kids and he decides to get mad at your evil deeds damn.

Also unfortunately if Capple ain’t coming he ain’t going. He’s made his vows to be a good brother and by god it’s something he’ll live by, she’s been abandoned by the world enough.
