Of course sorry it’s so late to respond procrastination is a hell of a road block. Well you see Milkshake wasn’t born out of necessarily a grounded relationship, once many eons ago the fount of knowledge and bringer of happiness did pine for each other but that is long gone. Eternal sugar yearned for the touch of her other half and well a shapeshifter is the next best thing. Unfortunately though no matter how hollyberry he looks milkshake gonna have his papa’s looks

Eternal sugar loves all her beautiful creations, just likes them perfect… and without more than one eye. It’s a simple fix really every new eye that appears in her baby boy’s hair she plucks out to keep him oh so perfect.

I mean all the beasts are not necessarily great parents, it’s just how it is when an immortal god with no sense of proper connection to mortal beings acts. I mean they were never kids themselves so it’s all so foreign.

Eternal sugar has Greek inspirations and if you know anything about Greek mythos things get real gorey sometimes so it’s on brand!

so, Pure vanilla has amnesia, right? How did that happen? Is he still king or fully under Custard/republic’s control?

Stress filled induce amnesia. He doesn’t fully remember his life before the whole act one begins on the game when he turned into sparkles, and it gets worse with stress. You see the vanilla kingdom is actually a high risk radiation zone due to Dark Enchantress kinda raining hell fire so yes that soul jam does to wonders he did get blasted with 30 years of intense radiation before going back up to the kingdom in the sky.

He’s technically always was king but it was more of title than anything before WL passing, then he kinda spiralled and gripped onto any control he had and that was his rulership of his kingdom.

When Custard well the Republic raided the kingdom for a brief moment it was occupied. But that ended pretty quick as their aid from the Golden Cheese kingdom was no joke. Custard never considered the one armed Mayor who he wrote off as some hobo to be in close connection with the golden goddess’s sons, and daughters.

In a better timeline this would be where Golden Cheese steps in and tells Pure Vanilla he’s losing himself to grief but unfortunately grief had wormed its way into her mind as well. And it only started a grief bonded plan that would ruin them both.

Though this AU is subject to change due to updates as I cannot help myself with including canon tl content. But I am very attached to this plot line so it’s very solid
