Went to Comic Con in Indianapolis today, it was so much fun! I got a bunch of photos with some really cool people!!

this is more of a personal post but OMG I MET CHRISTOPHER SABAT AND HE WAS SO DAMN COOL i was kind of too starstruck to talk properly but oh my god what a cool guy

also i graduated college yesterday and he signed my cap (he wrote 'now, its your turn' in invisible ink im so giddy rn yall)

I went to Momocon 2025 (my first ever convention) yesterday and it was super fun and I’m going to yap about it now yippe

(2nd attempt posting this cuz after spending and hour writing the first it didn’t save and deleted itself aaaa)

I went in a GingerBrave cosplay which was also my first ever cosplay! It took me a little under to week to make and I’m very proud of it

The only main issues I ran into with the mask was the paint on the inside of the mesh rubbing off onto my forehead, the hot glue bruising my nose a little, and the mask being hard to speak through

Basically the whole time I was at the con I kept hearing people say “OMG GingerBrave” “look a GingerBrave!” etc behind me which was super cool :D I kept being recognized and OMG SO MANY PEOPLE came up asking for photos it was SO COOL. I felt like the star of the show and couldn’t stop smiling it was so fun and I loved it :333 there was also this one little kid who I kept seeing over and over, and at the end of the con they ran up to me and hugged me and it was the sweetest thing ever 🥺 I almost died it was so cute

There was also one time where my mom called my name (we had gotten a little bit separated in the crowd) so I turned around really fast and accidentally gave two cosplayers a heart attack 😭 like imagine you’re just hanging out at a con and all of a sudden BOOM GingerBrave jumpscare

Also APPARENTLY there was a crk photoshoot and I MISSED IT because my goofy ahh didn’t check the schedule at all (I crashed out for like 10 minutes straight over it) but it ended up being alright because after that was over all the cookie run cosplayers started going to different parts of the con so I got some cool photos from that :3

I also managed to not buy a single thing which I hear is impressive for conventions

Anyways here are some photos! I have a lot more I wanted to show but tumblr has an image limit unfortunately, plus a lot of the photos I’m in are other people’s so I don’t have them (also the Candy Apple cosplayer in most of the photos is my sibling)

This was me at colossalcon 25' !! This was my first ever time going and it was super fun>.<

Went to comic con yesterday as bendy! Got to meet the full 1987 tmnt cast! It was awesome

I also got to meet a bunch of cool cosplayers, as well as got two things from it! This was my first convention in my first cosplay, I entered a costume contest for the novice category, i didn't place, but it was fun nonetheless! I got to a quite a few people who took pictures with me for my character, and I did the same, so if I met ya there, you all were awesome!

Tomorrow I'm going to my FIRST FURRY CONVENTION!!! Ever since I was a kid I've ALWAYS LOVED going to anime cons... I've got so a lot but it's been almost a decade since I've been to one... (2017) So let me just say.. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :3

I'll be taking lots of pics, (I'll be suiting as Vanth) and do my best to make TONS of furry friends and maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'll get new moots also... :33

I will be staying Friday-Sunday!!!

I'm sure no one here will see me but, just please be careful as I have intense anxiety but I am super friendly!!

The con is called Carolina fur fare aka CFF! This is their first time being CFF as it had to be moved due to the last space they used being too small.. 🦐 So hopefully everything goes well!! 💗 I know it will 💜

So I’m trying to research how to prepare for comic con and would like to know your guys tips. I know like the basic festival attendee and safety tips but like how long do you usually talk to the celebrities? How early do you get there? Anyone who’s met the rdr2 cast (specifically Rob, Roger, and Noshir) does it cost money to visit their booth? I’m so excited but i don’t want to seem like a dingus talking to them.
