so we all know remus and sirius moved into a flat together

in an attempt to keep themselves together with all of the stress of the order, they started to create new routines

sirius and remus developed a really nice morning routine, remus needs an alarm clock, because that boy can sleep like the dead. sirius, however, is a light sleeper. so when remus’s alarm goes off, sirius is immediately like alert and awake. remus on the other hand hits snooze like six times 

every morning, without fail, remus stirs just enough that he pulls sirius into his arms for a bit of a cuddle. he inevitably falls back asleep, and sirius wriggles out of his arms to make tea

he makes tea for both of them, milk and honey for remus, just plain sugar for sirius 

he comes back to the bedroom with two steaming mugs and crawls back in to bed 

when remus finally does wake up, he likes to read as a nice way to start his morning if he doesn’t have to be somewhere right away 

that usually leads to remus sitting up against the headboard, and sirius sitting between his legs, with his back pressed to remus’s chest in the most wholesome and loving way. he likes to push sirius’s hair behind his ear with one hand, while holding his book in the other. 

that’s when sirius usually reads the prophet to get up to date with what’s going on 

but then after they read for a bit, it’s breakfast time. they’ve bought a recipe book and every morning try to make a new muggle food. it usually results in almost burning down the kitchen, but hey, they’re doing their best. toast it is. 

i’ve metioned this before but sirius lights a scented candle for every one that comes into the apartment. he also has one that he thinks smells like remus for when remus is gone, and he lights remus’s favorite candle for when they’re home together

speaking of smells and remus not being there, when remus is gone sirius sprays his cologne on his pillow so he can feel less lonely at night 

sirius always dries dishes. remus washes. sirius has a very weird aversion to other people’s dirty dishes, even if they’re remus’s. 

sirius really liked divination in school even though all his friends thought it was dumb so u know that boy does tarot readings on everything while sitting on the windowsill in the moonlight. 

sirius also, ever the dramatic one, has a large supply of bath products. he also will convince remus that bubble baths are romantic at least once a week. 

he always plays records while he attempts to cook 

the muggle concept of takeaway was very foreign to him but for a while he thinks that the phone only exists to phone restaurants for takeaway 

when they first moved into their flat remus and sirius camped out on the living room floor because they had two pillows and one blanket between them, no furniture.

I love my room so much, when I first put it together like this I thought it looked silly or childish. But now this whole flat feels like my home and I love it more than I can describe.
