MY TAYLOR SWIFT RECORD FINALLY CAME IN ON FRIDAY THE 13 IN A BOX FULL OF STARS!!!!!!!!
First record!
"You never forget your first record." -my dad
The first recorded of sea star Astropecten indicus Dӧderlein, from the coral reef in the coastal waters of Iraq, North West Arabian Gulf, was done to explore the biodiversity at this habitat,by collected 31 individuals from three samples sites, during July 2012, June and December 2014. The specimens were described according to the morphological features.
“The first single I was bought was ‘The Show Must Go On’ by Leo Sayer because I’d seen him on Top Of The Pops dressed as a clown,” Gallagher told the BBC. “I remember my dad buying it for me. The label on the record was something to do with Alice In Wonderland. It might have had the hare in a top hat."
60 Years of Bob Dylan
60 Years of Bob Dylan
The title of this post refers less to our six fortunate decades in the presence of one of the 20th century’s greatest recording artists than to the man’s eponymous debut album, released this day in 1962. And this is because most mainstream record-buyers didn’t discover Dylan until they heard one or the other of his two subsequent albums, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan (1963) and The Times They Are…

MORPHOLOGICAL AND MERISTIC STUDY FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF Rhinomugil corsula, (HAMILTON -BUCHANON, 1822), RECORDED FROM RUPNARAYAN RIVER, WEST BENGAL, INDIA | UTTAR PRADESH JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY
Rhinomugil is a monospecific genus that includes mullets and is found in tropical and subtropical marine water bodies all over the world. They can be found not just in coastal water, but also in brackish water and even freshwater riverine systems. The Rupnarayan River runs for 80 kilometres in West Bengal, from Bandar Ghat [22.67°N, 87.77°E], Paschim Midnapore district, to Gadiara [22.22°N, 88.04°E], Howrah district. This riverine water body is naturally separated into two regions: upstream, with less tidal action and lower salty levels, and downstream, with higher tidal activity and higher saline levels. Pre-monsoon, monsoon, and post-monsoon surveys were undertaken from February 2018 to February 2020. Specimens were gathered using conventional fishing techniques used by local fishermen. The specimens were identified using existing literature, and measurements were taken in the metric system to one decimal point. The current study is a survey work on the fish faunal diversity of the Rupnarayan River, and it reveals that Rhinomugil corsula is the first time it has been reported from the river, and its distribution is being extended upstream, where the tidal flow in the freshwater region of the river is less influenced.
