I'm listening to old episodes of First Respodcast (specifically the 2x05 discussion episode) and towards the end they start talking about how the hospital in Grey's Anatomy was renamed the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for tragic reasons, and then Jane Mulcahy fucking laughs out loud and says:
"Wouldn't it be funny if 911 did that and at some point in the course of the show the 118 gets renamed to, like, The Bobby Nash Memorial Fire Station..."
And then they go on to talk about how silly that would be and how ridiculous it would be to kill Bobby because this isn't Grey's Anatomy, main characters don't die on 911, and it would be so cruel narratively for Bobby to die tragically after all he's been through.
