what they don't tell you about learning to draw is that at a certain point of obsession you start to see everything as a potential reference. i frequently have to force myself to stop breaking the general public and my surroundings down into illustrative components during conversations and everyday tasks.

i think it's funny when you draw so many things and doodles and illustrations, and you pull back like " woah, i've drawn so much! is there anything i can post? " and then the answer is no because it's either:

something you'll only be able to post later (because of a delayed release date or otherwise)

something nsfw (and i'm not about to post dick on main)

something that you can't post because there is no context for it, and you have yet to draw the context because it's all in messages and calls between friends that no one else knows of

any combination of the above
