Disneyland Secret #244
In celebration of Disneyland’s 66th birthday here is the ever ticket to Disneyland. This ticket was bought by Roy O. Disney as a special prepurchase sold on July 18, 1955. It was sold to him by Curtis Lineberry, the manager of admissions, from ticket booth number 2. Roy Disney thought the first ticket would be of historical importance. He paid $1 for the ticket. He also bought the first ticket into Disney World. This ticket was discovered on his desk after his passing.
Pokemon Card of the Day #1656: First Ticket (Dragon Vault)
First Ticket was a strange card. If you had it in your hand at the start of the game, you could play it. This skipped the opening coin flip and let you go first. While this was pretty nice, especially at the point where there were no limits to what you could do on your first turn, you really had to max out on First Ticket to have a good chance of drawing it in your first 7 cards. This gave you a few dead draws in your deck. If you badly needed to go first it could be worth it but most decks were better off filling that deck space with something else.
