BNHA boys as your neighbors

▷ 「Midoriya」 often receives your packages. The apartment complex you live in isn’t the most organized, so naturally your packages end up at his door at least two times a month. The first time it happened, you were so worried that your order had been lost in the mail when it didn’t arrive on time, but right as you were about to report the package as lost he knocked on your door with it in his hands. He apologized, even though it clearly wasn’t his fault and he went through the effort to make sure you got what belonged to you. You had made small talk and offered him a snack as a thank you, grateful for his kindness. Ever since then, he personally delivers your letters and packages to you whenever a mix-up occurs, and you happily invite him in for drinks and food. If only your mail was misdelivered more often.

▷ You hear 「Bakugou」 before you see him. As his next door neighbor, you sometimes hear his doors slam throughout the week and wonder what he could be so angry about all the time. Your first time seeing him was when you passed him on the stairs as he tried to carry all his groceries up in one trip, even though he reasonably couldn’t balance it all. He rudely declined your offer to help until one of his bags broke and his produce for the week was sent tumbling down three flights of stairs. You laughed, but still collected the various fruits that had fallen and helped him bring them the rest of the way up without making fun of him too much (he is a little scary after all). He never thanked you, but he did start helping you carry your groceries and whatever else you’ve brought home whenever he sees you because “it’s painful to watch you do everything so slow.” You still tease him about how he’s too impatient and that at least you know your limits. He just hopes that the aggressiveness of his reply hides the fact that he doesn’t help just anyone.

▷ You go to 「Todoroki」 when you need to borrow ingredients for a recipe. The first time you asked him for an egg, he didn’t have any, so you had to put your unfinished cookies away while you went to the store. However, later that evening he came to your door, asking if you still needed an egg, a grocery bag in hand. By then of course, you’re long finished with the cookies, but thank him for the offer. Despite this, he hands you a whole carton of eggs, telling you that you can have them to use for next time. You’re a bit confused, as no neighbor in the past has gone and bought eggs specifically for you (let alone a whole dozen when all you asked for was one), so you invite him in, asking if he would like a few of the cookies you had made in exchange. Todoroki looks forward to the next time you come calling, making sure to have all the cooking staples in his pantry in hopes that he can share a warm treat or meal with you again.

▷ 「Kirishima」 takes a run around the neighborhood every evening after work. He caught your attention obviously, what kind of person had the motivation to make running a habit for fun, let alone look good doing it? The one time he caught you staring, he returned your gaze with a smile so bright that you weren’t sure if it was the warm outside air or him making your cheeks feel flush. Even in the blazing summer heat, he runs and works out, so you thought to give him a cool water when he passed by after having talked with him once about how quickly the temperature was rising. He always thanks you with that kind smile of his and greets you with a cheerful voice, so that when he asked you once if you’d like to go to the neighborhood gym with him you almost said yes. But you still had your senses about you at least a little, so you declined, but did ask him if he would be willing to take a walk with you instead. Now before his runs, he stops by your apartment to walk a block with you, calling it his “warm-up lap.” He never fails to greet you the same heart melting smile he met you with.

▷ You aren’t expecting anyone when 「Denki」 knocks on your door, but he’s come to invite you to a small party he’s throwing at his place. He hadn’t talked to you despite having moved in a few months ago, and he said he wanted to at least say hi and invite you if you were interested. You’re not usually one for parties, but how can you deny such a hopeful face? You decide to join, thinking that at least you could get free food out of it, but you end up enjoying yourself when he keeps checking on you in the corner you’ve situated yourself in. You find out that he’s the neighbor that’s been blasting EDM from his car when he comes home from who knows where at two in the morning, but when you jokingly mention it he promises to keep the volume down next time, giving you an embarrassed laugh and a lighthearted apology. He might be the neighbor that makes a little too much noise sometimes, but he acts like he’s your best friend from the get go and will invite you to the latest events, somehow knowing everyone in the neighborhood. Eventually, maybe you’d even want to be a little more than best friends, but that’s another story.

▷ On warm days, sometimes you see 「Shinsou’s」 cats sunbathing on his windowsill. There’s at least three different ones that you’ve noticed, but your favorite has to be the silky black one that watches you with big green eyes when you pass by. You hadn’t ever seen its owner until you spot him chasing that very cat around the parking lot, but of course you’re not going to leave the already exhausted looking man to try to catch the creature himself, so you offer your help, to his relief. This incident begins a calm and aimable relationship with Shinsou and his cats, as he invites you in to meet the rest of them after you expressed interest in his new foster kitten. You begin to frequently check in with him to see how the cats are doing, but rather it’s a great excuse when what you’re actually checking in on is him (but he doesn’t have to know that). On the flip side, Shinsou secretly thinks it’s so convenient that the cats are a natural way to keep conversation going with you, hoping each time you stay a little longer.

▷ You thought you were the only one who knew about your apartment’s roof access until you saw 「Hawks」 in your corner of the roof. You didn’t know if you were more annoyed that your secret hideaway wasn’t so secret anymore, or pleased that at least if you had to share it, it was with a good looking neighbor. He gives you a flirty grin, asking you how long you’d known about this spot, and you tell him. It just so happens that he’s been coming here for longer than you have, but your paths only just aligned for the first time. He’s easy to talk to, and before you know it you’re kind of hoping that he’s there whenever you head up to destress and look at the sky. He shares your love of heights and finds peace in the quietness of the rooftop, you feel comfortable telling him about whatever is bothering you that day as he reassures you with a thoughtful comment and a easygoing chuckle. His perspective is as open as the sky above you, and you find that maybe sharing your hiding place (and your heart) with him isn’t that bad.

▷ 「Dabi」 smokes on his balcony at twilight. You were a bit unnerved by his presence when you first saw him, but after he retrieved your keys when you had brainlessly gotten them locked in your car, you realized he wasn’t as intimidating as you thought (although he was suspiciously skilled at quietly forcing open your car door with ease). While trying to fill the silence as he fiddled with the passenger side door handle, you couldn’t help but notice his tattoos and piercings and ask him which was his favorite. This topic of conversation seemed to please him, especially after you complimented it as art despite the stigma, continuing to talk together in the parking lot well after your keys were back in your hand. Now, you’ve made it a tradition to share a drink or a smoke with him on his balcony on Friday nights, and he’ll tell you the story behind his latest tattoo. You may end up more intoxicated by him than your drink, curious about the man half hidden in wisps of smoke, but there’s nothing wrong with that, right?

Time and time again, she was approached by this individual. And every time she turned down his subtle offerings. She had to give him credit though, he was a stubborn one. However one could only take this repetitive asks so many times before it grew boring... and tiresome. One another day, when he finally shouted in and demanding why she wouldn’t accept his callings, she struck. With lightening fast movement, she appeared before him and a blade against his throat.

“Because, little wyrm. I am not interested in you...” with that, she left and vanished into thin air.
