It was September 12th 2006, the usual british rain dropped from the sky at a speedchase pace and hammered against the hospital window pains. It was 9:30pm when Lexi May Jones with her husband Kayden Jones holding her hand, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

And they named her Brooklyn Jones.

Each of us animal-lovers can probably trace it back to at least one specific creature who taught us something about the depth of inhuman bonds. For me, that was Smokey, a 20-lb brown tabby cat who was significantly larger than my ~6 lbs when my parents brought me home. Smokey was crotchety and definitely gave me a few good licks in my toddlerhood, but he was incredibly tolerant of my grabby hands most of the time and according to my parents sought out my company. Many blurry early-90's photos corroborate this. Smokey was a cat of legends: he stole turkey carcasses, broke up dogfights, and attacked my dad anytime I squealed while being tickled. He came to the US with us from Germany, and was our family's companion until he died a grizzled old man in Georgia. Since Smokey, a cat has never been far from my side (and even now Gali is staring at me, demanding bedtime). So today, I met a Necromancer named Nico. He seemed to have a lot of backstory, and while it seemed interesting at the time, I didn’t have enough of my own time to listen to him, seeing as he had his own business to attend to. He seems very nice.                     @niconicomancer

For all you people who don’t:

For starters, have you not seen the way Goh looks at Ash? 

And then there was the Lugia. And when they landed in the field, I mean, wtf? how could you not ship after that scene?

And the Bulbasaur. How they were helping each other climb up the tower. 

And with the Scorbunny. 

And how about the fact that THEY MIGHT NOT CANONICALLY BE BOYFRIENDS, BUT THEY SURE ACT LIKE IT!!!!

If I will ship anyone in Pokémon Journeys, it will be Ash and Goh.
