One of Lord Vader’s most favoured renditions of his children features them on holiday at Naboo. The twins, taking great pride in their late mother’s heritage, often visited her home planet and delighted in its culture and scenic vistas. They were rarely seen apart from the dark lord while residing in Theed Palace, yet it is said that they occasionally disappeared into the country together and returned at twilight just before their father grew restless.

Coincidentally, the completion of this painting marks the anniversary of Lord Vader’s union with Padme Amidala, former queen and senator of Naboo. Despite a rocky beginning, Naboo eventually formed amiable ties with the Empire and has long since enjoyed the fruits of that favourable alliance.

Here's one of the many paintings of Luke and Leia that Vader has hanging in his room XD I also figured it'd be a nice way to drop some lore bits about Naboo! I'd really like to introduce more of the other planets and what happens with them, but again, I'm kinda making this AU up as I go, so I don't have all the details in place yet loll ^^;;

Also, Leia's outfit here is inspired by Padme's lakeside dress in ep2! I didn't have a lot of energy to add lots of details to the clothing, so let's just say the twins are in their "chill time" outfits XD

Because they were the best three months of my life.

The shawl may be off, but she’s still a part of me.

There will be more mic tape to rip off.

Today was the best feeling in the world.

It hurt.

Because it meant something.

I cried because it was over.

But that was a today thing.

I have such a huge yearning when it comes to platonic love I fear it’s going to tear me apart. Friendships are so delicate in my eyes and I feel like if I let myself love them all without restraint, I would smother them. I want to constantly hold them close to me, to lace my fingers with theirs, to cook them warm meals, to smoke weed outside and stargaze, to ruffle their hair, to kiss their foreheads after I see them cry, to slow dance with them, to go swimming, to go to museums, to just be close to all of them all of the time. I am platonically infatuated with so many people in my life and I don’t know what to do with all of it.

This is my favorite graphic novel that I bought at Seattle's Short Run comics festival last fall. And that shouldn't be a surprise as Greg Means (The Cute Girl Network, Penny Nichols) wrote it. If you've never read any of the Papercutter series, which he edited and published (I think), I highly recommend any issue you come across. I'm not as familiar with Lee's work but after reading this book I'm going to be on the lookout for more of their work, too -- it's fabulous.

This is a platonic love story between Allen Rheem and his friend Zekia Miller. They travel together promoting an overly complicated strategy card game, Asylum, that has a worldwide following. And as they do they try to push each other into romantic pursuits. They're awkward. They're super close friends. They even babysit their friends' kids together, and set up two gamers who of course fall in love. But in the end the question is is platonic love enough for both of them? Just one of them? Neither of them?

as the glimmering moonlight shines upon his golden skin,

making him look even more angelic than usual, he lies in the arms of his best friend, in his home, his sanctuary.

a delicate frown frames her face, as she gently lays her mahogany eyes at the angel residing in the comfort of her warm, small arms.

her eyes soften, as she observes the bruises, that stain his satin honey - like skin. his blanche shirt adorning his broad chest, now stained with, tones of scarlet and burgundy, torn and blemished, exposing the tiny hairs sprinkled across his golden chest.

gently brushing through his soft, overgrown raven hair, she notices his gentle, chocolate eyes get droopy, the curtain of his eyelids framed by long lashes now covering his orbs, as the boy slips into oblivion.

she’s watched him suffer, watched his azure soul get stained with tones of crimson, all because of a certain past lover hurting him, making his psyche ache in pain and discomfort.

sitting in a bed of velvety, cuddly blankets, with the cool breeze of the night flowing through the cream room, she looks up at the indigo sky sprinkled with silvery stars and flaxen moons, as she sees the man carefully work on his art, morphing his emotions, pain, suffering into his work.

a gentle smile frames her face, as she breaks into laughter; a symphony of melodies that escape her rosy lips, as she gazes at the messy , ebony - haired angel in front of her, as he furrows his brows in focus.

constantly being each other’s reason to exist, uplifting, like walking through a lavender field in a sunny day, the smell of flowers sprinkled in the air, careless laughter escapes, their amethyst and cerulean personas; an alluring fusion.

always loving him,

forevermore.
