I don’t usually like to ‘gram about my career, but today was such a beautiful day not to. My class of grade 8s were amazing as we worked with the dirt eradicating evasive species, learned about water quality and the local water shed, tested water quality, and listened to a local First Nations respected elder and heard about his families stories and histories while canoeing the local inlet. Thank you SeaChange for amazing experience that can’t be replicated in the classroom. And thank you for educating us that it’s possible to change and clean up our past mistakes. #connection #environmentalscience #firstnationshistory #todinlet #seachange #bethechange #startthemyoung #fieldtrip #taketheclassroomoutside (at Gowlland Tod Provincial Park)
