welp, I sure am glad FISH FLASH IS NOW AVAILABLE ON STEAM, because it seems it's about to be deleted from the Google Play store come February :( Google Play is requiring I display sensitive personal info on my developer profile if I want to keep selling apps there, and as a child of 90's internet safety etiquette I simply will not. The latest mobile version of FF isn't ready anyway, but I'll make Fish Flash v7 (the version currently available on Google Play) available on itch for those of you who know how to install APK files that aren't from the store. It's not a hard thing to do, but it requires you enable apps from "unknown sources" in your settings, which I understand some people might not be comfortable with.

If some people do install it from itch though, that might actually inspire me to make more mobile apps. The biggest pain in the ass about developing for mobile has been meeting/maintaining GP store requirements, which often sends me on a maddening hours-long quest to figure out what the hell they're even requesting. This is a blessing in disguise, really. Dobby is free

Was reminiscing on Fish Flash yesterday while modeling and thinking of how I'd like to give the game a makeover, and why not do it in 3D?! I've had trouble finding direction for my pet/farm sim, in which I wanted a Fish Flash-like mini game anyway - perhaps I should make this little elf the star and expand upon her life! She could have a home to decorate in addition to her sweet threads ;D

Thank you again for participating in my Master's research project! I loved drawing this fish king! And I’m sort of back from a long hiatus - I’ll post some more art soon.

this is my game, FISH FLASH, available on the google play store. Although it's really a game more suited to mobile play, I'm looking to publish it on Steam so I can learn how that works and experiment with things like achievements before I go launching a more PC-appropriate title there. For anyone testing the Steam beta builds of Fish Flash, today's 7.5 update opened the leaderboards. Send in those scores >:D There's also now an 'Expert Mode' toggle in the options menu that skips the slow windup time and gets straight to the action.

And for anyone who wants to be testing the Steam beta build of Fish Flash, I still have some keys to give away. DM me if interested :3
