P e p p e r s

I made a list of peppers that I really want to grow and make into individual marinades and hot sauces, just to have the excuse to grow then=m and enjoy them. What can I say, variety is the spice of life right?

The peppers are:

Fish Pepper

Lemon drop

tabasco

satans kiss

prairie fire

hot paper lantern

facing heaven

UFO

Count dracula

serrano

*I do not know anything about growing peppers nor making hot sauce, but I have the itch to learn

3 months' worth of growth for these indoor peppers. I didn't move them outside this year as I have marmorated stink bugs on my balcony and I didn't feel like dealing with them. So far they don't seem to mind.

At this point I don’t even care about the peppers, I’m keeping it for how pretty it looks.

I don’t remember mentioning this before, but last year I kept two pepper seedlings on my balcony rather than plant them in the garden with the others and they’re still here. One Fish and one Peter pepper. Didn’t grow as vigorous as the ones in the ground, but they started growing again recently, putting out tiny flower buds and they seem to be doing pretty well. We’ve always treated pepper plants as annuals, so this is an interesting experience. Here’s to many more years for these two guys.
