Fit Fierce Feb
Yesterday, I managed to get to the local Bulk Food store for the first time. Our local grocery has most of the bulk items I look for (quinoa, chia, gf flour, etc), so I usually just buy things there and get so my shopping done at once. OH MY GOODNESS! The bulk store has SO MUCH MORE (which I anticipated), and it's 50-80% cheaper than the grocery! Here's what I got: *2 lbs quinoa *1 lb chia seeds *2 lbs millet flour (which the grocery doesn't carry) *1 qt coconut butter *loose leaf Earl Grey Tea *dried nettles (one of my favorite wild herbs) *1 lb Autumn blend lentils What I paid: $31.48! I also did my regular shopping and filled the fridge and freezer with tons of veggies, fruits, and healthy meat! I was going to take a pic, but realized my kitchen was dirty, sooooooooooo.... And today, I made chia pudding for breakfast. This is going to help me with my PART 2 goal of Fit Fierce Feb, which is to reduce the amount of donuts I eat in a week. It may seem silly, but I literally ear at least 1 donut per day. I have since they opened a Tim Hortons in town last year. XD TL;DR: Buy bulk, lots of veggies, no more donuts.
