Trying Something New

I’ve always been curious about how to fix broken things, so I decided to finally give it a shot. I’m going to try learning how to solder… even though I honestly have no clue what I’m doing yet 😅. And since I’m a pretty lazy person, I’m not even sure if I’ll end up loving it, but hey, I spent about $60 on a decent starter kit, so I figured I might as well try and see where it goes. Worst case, I learn something new. Other than that, everything’s been good. I also want to say thank you so much for the support. 47 followers might not sound like a lot, but it genuinely means a lot to me. I really appreciate every one of you. BROKEN SOUVENIRS, BROKEN HEARTS

I bought these two stone souvenirs from Boracay, carved into art with the name 'Boracay' on them. I took a picture with them before putting them on display in the cabinet.

Earlier this afternoon, accidentally knocked this over and it broke into pieces. 🥺🥺🥺I tried to fix it with glue, and while I managed to put it back together, the crack is still visible.

This made me feel a bit sad because I tend to get sentimental about things, no matter how much they cost. ☹️

Then it suddenly dawned on me: just like this broken stone, a broken relationship is never quite the same, even if you manage to fix it. The crack will always be there. 😕😕😕
