So this was me my freshmen year in college. I was around 190 lbs. I know that for some this is not a bad weight but the weight was causing me so many health problems. For example, my asthma was out of control. I used to wake up randomly at night having an asthma attack now knowing what in the world triggered it. My chest was always tight. Whenever I would stand up I would be light headed . It’s crazy to think that I really didn’t see myself for what I really was. I had family members tell me that I was fat , obese and would never find someone that would love me for who I was. I remember just hearing them and wanting to just eat more. I remember being so depressed not wanting to go nowhere and canceling to so many events. I always had that “ I don’t have an outfit ” excuse…I love looking at this picture because it remind me of how far I’ve come. This will forever be my favorite picture.
