I love these creatures so much! You first notice the features making them conventionally attractive, then you might start to associate the visual with birds of prey, maybe even reptiles, and then the fireball connects with your face <3

Throwback to my first gouache painting from a while back (six or seven years ago lmao). I was SO proud of this back then and I've been thinking of redoing it for a while now. I still think it's nice but you can definitely see that I wasn't confident with the medium yet. And that I couldn't draw hands.
