Clothes sharing trope, particularly jacket swapping, Barry Allen style:

- Snart: Too warm. Barry can't stand it. - Oliver: Oliver doesn't get cold, Barry. - Iris: Ideal for one-way swaps. Too small to share. - Caitlin: Increasingly leather as time goes on, meaning less room to move. - Cisco: Actually not too bad, but he could stand to stop spilling things on them. - Ray: Barry isn't used to wearing clothes that dwarf him. - Kara: Barry wears her jackets as a point of protest because Winn said it looks ridiculous. - Eddie: Why does he even bother swapping? They both have CCPD jackets... - Mick: Barry likes how big the jacket is, but the constant smell of ash tickles his nose too much. Also, opposite size issue to Iris. Mick can't fit into Barry's clothes in any timeline.

Ray gets a dream job as an actor, starring as one of the leads in a musical. He's working alongside Barry 'The Flash' Allen as the competition for his love interest, which would be great... Except he has to act churlish on camera one moment and fall back to smiles and apologies the next, eager to reassure Barry he actually likes him. The situation gives him emotional whiplash but it's still a fantastic project, exactly the kind of old-school musical he's always wanted to do.

He can't help but enjoy the promotional tour even more, considering it's just him and Barry a lot of the time. They both get to be themselves in interviews, antagonism free and goofing off - their natural enthusiasm for the project, as well as the genre, shining through to everyone's benefit. It's no surprise that he misses it all once it's over and the movie finally drops.

A funny thing happens though, there's a vocal section of fans who insist him and Barry had even better chemistry than him and his love interest, lovely as she was. Ray's kinda pleased to know maybe he wasn't imagining that spark between them, even if it's purely likeminds hitting it off.

Then he gets a phonecall from an indie director who's enthusiastic about a much lower budget musical, one where Ray is cast opposite Barry as his love interest this time. It'd be foolish to give up on another chance to do a musical and there's really nothing he'd want more than to work with Barry again. At least that's what he thinks at the time anyhow. What he comes to realize later is a story for another time.

Flashatom Valentines Week is a week to celebrate the pairing of Barry Allen/Ray Palmer with fanworks or just enjoying/supporting Flashatom fanworks!

Guidelines:

Content should be Barry and Ray centric. Afterall it is a Flashatom event.

I'm going to have to say ColdFlash. Because it's everywhere. Leonard Snart ships already make me uncomfoy and it's very annoying when I can't search for any of rarepairs or even WestAllen without ColdFlash coming up on the first page because A03 doesn't always let me filter out other tags and I waste so much time sorting out fics that also have ColdFlash. Also every single time I check the tab for my rarepair (which there are currently 54 fics for) I always have to filter out ColdFlash and that's literally 1/4 of the content (23 fics currently) and I'm just at a point where I'm like "Can I search ONE Barry ship without ColdFlash coming up on the FIRST PAGE instead of what I'm looking for?"

Harry Potter:

So, disclaimer for this one. This is kinda controversial and I'm not a dramatic Snape stan and I don't consider myself an anti because I don't care if y'all ship it but like Jilly's relationship progression annoys the fuck out of me and makes me kind of depressed. Like, why is James the golden boy Lily loves just because he didn't turn out to be a blood pureist? Like ... he and his friends still harassed and nearly killed a boy on more than one occasion + thought it was funny for no reasons other than 1) he had "greasy hair". 2) He was in a different house at school 3) He was too close to a girl one of them had a crush on. I know people are like "he changed, he grew up" but we didn't see any of that. To me it just really feels like Lily ended up with the lesser of two assholes. It always felt like she got with him really soon after or around the time Snape called her a mudblood. So ... it always just felt like James bullied her until she liked him and her friend being blood pureist. I'm just sort of sitting here like "Lily deserved better" and I'm usually more inclined to be lenient towards kids because they can grow up and change but there is not a lot of time at all between Hogwarts and when Lily and James got married so I just ... don't like them lmao.

I had to think LONG and hard about this one because my main ships (Steelspeed, Flashclub, LegalFlashClub, Flashatom, etc) Are 90% of rarepairs and honestly I had to name the first 3 myself. (Flashclub with help from the Arrowverse server Flarrowverse Shipyard)

I'm gonna go with FlashAtom because I feel like they have so much potential even as friends in the verse. I mean they already share a favourite musical, and they're cute sweet scientists like??? Can you IMAGINE them talking about science stuff all day??? Like listen I love me some Olivarry but like??? Flashatom??? That would be SO SOFT. I'm weak just thinking about it.

Harry Potter: [Discussions of sex and touch repulsion ahead]

I feel that this is a copout because I like a VERY spesific Charmione set up and most ships like this are mostly fanon because we don't see a lot of Charlie but I'm going to be self-indulgent anyway.

I like to think about Hermione being slightly touch repulsed(not all the time, and not and not exactly sex repulsed) she's just not a huge cuddler. Then I like to think of her offically meeting Charlie sometime after the war(because I'm sure he saw her at least twice but flat up wouldn't remember her with so many people in that house lol), and Charlie is hetroromantic + Asexual (Sex neutral/bordering on sex-adverse) and them getting married and bonding over her passion for justice and his passion for dragons. Because I really like that headcanon that Charlie is just borderline like Steve Irwen towards Dragons with so much respect and love for them. Also imagine them protesting to protect Dragon nesting grounds together? Please?
