Take it from someone who has been pregnant-on purpose-enough times and knows that no matter the length of your cycle, you ovulate roughly a week before the first day of your period. It takes that long for an egg to be fertilized and travel to your uterus where it attaches to the uterine wall and triggers a rise in progesterone. Without that, your uterus gets pissed and expels all that wonderful tissue it has produced to harbor that embryo. You ovulate /before/. Please learn how your body works.

12. A movie that holds a special place in your heart?

Grave of the Fireflies. It left me in a sobbing mess when I first watched it some time in college. I was at laikaken's house, and I mentioned wanting to see it. She refused to watch it again, so there I was, alone in front of the TV, clutching a pillow and sobbing my eyes out. I still can't look at fruit drops without remembering the film.

I have so many issues with the New Thor. I absolutely hate that they've made Thor unworthy /again/. Seriously, give the guy a break. And now, his entire identity is being stolen along with the hammer in someone else's possession. Then you've got all these people so excited, but there's nothing progressive about ignoring other female heroes-Sif or Valkyrie-because apparently a woman must have a man's identity to be worth anything. SHE IS NOT THOR. This whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

There’s nothing progressive about the New Thor so far. It just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, ugh.
