Winter Stowaway AU Masterpost

(Note: this AU has spoilers for s1e6 of Fionna and Cake!)

What is the Winter Stowaway AU?

After losing the magic in his crown, Winter King hi-jacks Fionna and Cake's crown adventure with the goal of getting his magic back (further complicating things for the trio). Earning their trust back is a challenge, but perhaps (with the help of an external mysterious force) he can find a way to see eye-to-eye with them and end his story on his own terms.

I genuinely considered making a “choose your own adventure” type comic with multiple endings for this story (kind of as a disgruntled homage to the S1 finale), which I MAY revisit... but in the meantime, I refuse to let this man die without closure!! (tho lbr I'm just putting him through the whump machine for entertainment) Thus, y'all just get snippets of dialog and doodles of possible scenarios instead.

Why is it also called Shared Custody AU?

My friend came up with his nickname (Squinter) because… SCwinter… squinter… haha they get funny pun award.

It takes courage to love.

I have never felt the way I do about someone like I do with my gf.

This is scary. This is new. She means everything to me. With her by my side I feel like I can do anything. Things aren't as scary when she's around. I love everything about her down to her stubborness.

Having a life partner requires so much trust. I want to do this life with her. I want a family with her. Shes my person. But fuck, I would be lying if I said this wasn't one of the scariest things ive ever done.
