Martin Freeman in the Flavia trailer (2026)
Or: Martin looking slightly shocked and confused in nearly every scene. 🤭
Chrobin Week Day 1: Invisible Ties
I absolutely adore the dialogue in this scene but also it always cracks me up how Frederick's crack is so prominently featured in the frame

Freeman is back in the mystery genre.
Flavia, his latest foray into the genre, sees him performing in another adaptation of a literary property, albeit one that's more family-friendly than Sherlock. Following the movie’s April 4 opening in the United Kingdom, its U.S. release date has officially been set.
Now, now, we all know that the One Who Waits must be *shuffles a deck of classic and EU character cards and they all go flying everywhere* Shit. Uh. It must be *gathers up cards hastily but they spill out over my fingers* Shit. Shit. I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry. Fucking hell. We all know that the One Who Waits must be *dramatically selects a single card and holds it up for the audience* the Doctor’s Aunt Flavia.
Don't be scared, it's just me, being rather early with the monthly report. 😄It's going to be a short one.
4th April
Flavia is available to watch since today on Sky. Also, we were blessed with some BTS pics.
7th April
Martin was on The One Show today, promoting Flavia.
16th April
Martin will once again be a celebrity guest on Whodunnit Rehearsed.
He also attended the Jazz FM Awards 2026.
30th April
Martin had a small part in a music quiz in aid of the Cash For Kids charity.
And that's it. A bit disappointing, considering that Flavia was released. I had hoped for a little bit more promo.
