was listening to Secret Garden and remembered my utau phase and just thought:

"lmao imagine that as swangale/flihens/varhen with Lohen cursed to be parasitized by flowers growing from his body everytime he is injured similar to Flowerfell Frisk but he doesnt avoid it and instead keeps fighting regardless bc fuck you hes not letting a curse define his life nor stop him from doing what he wants"

and then in swangale Illuga is horrified when he finds out and tries to get him to stop and go somewhere safe and protect him because thats such an awful way to go out he already doesnt want Lohen to die but he absolutely refuses to be unable to protect Lohen from this

even if he has to protect him from himself

and obv they're super conflicted over it bc Illuga wants to protect Lohen but Lohen doesnt want to be protected and prob went out of his way to hide the curse so he wouldnt have to deal with pity/sympathy bullshit and Illugas just

so Illuga just has to watch another person he cares for march to their death while basically helpless to do anything about it and theres not even a single evil entity to be mad at over it. just him and Lohen.

flihen would go with Flins aware of this curse from ancient stories and fascinated want to study Lohen promising not to snitch and saying he just wants to study him bc wow youve got a rare ancient curse AND youre not doing anything about it? how curious then by all means die in a shroud of vines ill be here once your spirit exits your corpse

but then somewhere while watching the interest blooms into something more alongside those damn flowers and by the time he realizes he actually cares if Lohen lives or dies the flowers have progressed far enough that theres no way the hare can get out of the boiling water alive

just has to accept that he cares for this mortal and this mortal is going to die like everyone else and yet it wont feel like everyone else itll feel so much WORSE

for say Varka bitch got no right to try to stop Lohen his ass self sacrificial af best he can do is try to assign less dangerous missions like delivering letters but at the end of the day Lohen WILL return to the battlefield and he is. well. kind of okay with that? obviously hes not okay with him DYING but he seems to have made this choice and is sticking to it no matter what

so obviously hes gonna make sure to spend as much time with him as possible! plan for them to try as many things and do as much as possible and make the years they have left together the best possible so when Lohen dies Varka can tell himself that neither should have regrets bc they did all that they could and Celestia above what they did was amazing beautiful and deserves to be cherished

he sends Lohen off with a smile, looking back on their memories with joy alongside sorrow

and in all Lohen has just already accepted his fate and mortality. definitely not fragility hes gonna be fighting those allegations to his grave, but hes decided hes 100% okay with dying to this. its never been about the glory nor his life, just fighting and living as he pleases no matter how short

definition of a "id rather go down short and lively than long and surviving" type he has no time for being scared of this curse bc hes said fuck being scared that does nothing good for me imma just die doing what i love

probably both love and hate the fact ppl care so much about this to nag and bother him about it bc cool they care but he HATES the pity and the constant reminder bitch stfu hes trying to enjoy the thrill of combat but its harder to do that when bitches be CONSTANTLY REMINDING HIM AND FRETTING OVER A FUCKING CURSE

its almost 1am and also im not familiar with Teyvat flower language or flower language in general so i didnt mention a specific flower to be growing from him so yall can add onto that shit itll be fun >:) hehehe instead of craving food i crave angst at midnight

oh and also i thought about linhen (linnea) and chihen (childe) and albehen (albedo) but im not very familiar with those chars so i figured id just mention them here for rhe ppl who wanna be inspired/see their lohen ship acknowledge but not write since id prob screw up

(i havent met linnea yet... and 90% of chihen content is them fightfucking and albehen is purely based on the hc of albedo supplying lohen's poisons... would albehen be similar to what i put for flihen and chihen for my varhen section??? would linnea look for a cure???? i heard shes an explorer but i might be wrong)
