Flint’s Eternity

7th-level Transmutation

Casting Time: Action

Range: 60 feet

Components: V, S, M (a small golden hourglass worth 100 gp)

Duration: Instantaneous

Description: You force a target to experience days worth of time in the span of a second. One creature that you can see within range must make a Constitution saving throw. On failure, it gains three levels of exhaustion. On a success, it only gains one.

You may target objects of up to Huge size with this spell instead. If you do, three days of time passes for the object, causing it to rot, rust, or otherwise degrade as though it had been unattended for that time. If you target a magic item with this version of the spell, it regains charges as though three days had passed.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the target creature gains one more level of exhaustion on a failed saving throw or the target item experiences one more day of time for each slot level above 7th.

2nd-Level Transmutation

Casting Time: 1 bonus action

Range: 30 ft.

Components: V, S, M (a shaving of licorice root)

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Description: Choose one willing creature within range. That creature can take two bonus actions on each of their turns. Only one can be a spell.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you may target one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd.

Range: Personal

Components: V, S, M (a finely-made golden pocket watch worth 1,000 gp, which the spell destroys.)

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Description: You partially manifest a duplicate of yourself from a timeline that is nearly, but not quite identical to your own. While this spell is in effect, you gain a second turn on each round. If your current initiative is 10 or higher, then your second turn occurs on your initiative count minus ten, losing all ties. If your current initiative count is lower than ten, then your second turn occurs on your initiative count plus ten, but not until the next round.

Casting Time: Free action

Range: Personal

Components: V

Duration: Instantaneous

Description: You pull a fleeting moment from another timeline to react to circumstances you shouldn’t be able to. You can cast this spell when you would be able to take a reaction, but have already used your reaction this round, to take that reaction anyway.  Alternatively, you may cast this spell to take one action at any point during a surprise round when you are surprised, or to take one action during the effects of a Time Stop spell or similar effect cast by another creature. You may only cast this spell once per round.

Flint’s Accelerated Study

2nd-level Divination

Casting Time: 1 Action (ritual)

Range: Touch

Components: V, S, M (a pair of gold-rimmed, miniature spectacles worth 50 gp)

Duration: Instantaneous

Description: You touch a book, scroll, wall carving, or other portion of a written text. You instantaneously understand and remember the entire work as though you had just finished reading it through once. This spell confers no special ability to understand the contents of the text; any damage to the text, encryption, or magical protection on the text functions as normal. The spell does not allow you to read languages you do not understand, though it could be combined with other spells, such as Comprehend Languages, to remedy this. Magical traps set to trigger when someone reads the text are triggered by this spell. The spell also grants no special ability to remember the contents of the text.

Flint is the eldest member of Clan Thacey, a dark-skinned wizard with a stoic disposition. He specializes in time manipulation and has crafted a number of time-related spells for his personal use. His Accelerated Study is likely the most regularly used of the bunch, for reasons he would hope are obvious.
