Last week while dusting off my space, I found bits and pieces of a really old paper collection in a bag at the bottom of a drawer. So I sat down and this mini #junkjournal was born in one go.
I woke up far before I normally do this morning and proceeded to write for fourteen pages. I used a converter and a half of ink, and my fingers are slightly numb still, but it was worth it. Day 29 of the August journaling challenge by @journaling-junkie
#SNAPSHOTS No. 6 on the short notes Series for all #newbies who want to take the #junkjournal plunge.
A signature is the section that makes up the basis of a junk journal. It is a set of pages nested one inside another to create sections within your journal.
Each section is a booklet of 4 to 8 pages folded in half. The number of signatures will depend on the width and spine of the cover.
A set of booklets makes up a junk journal and it should be specified that a 4-page booklet makes a total of 16 pages (recto / verso) so keep in mind the number of pages you will have to fill and decorate.
Also, if you plan to add a lot of decorations and / or dimensional accessories, remember that the more elements you add to the pages, the more bulky they become, then the more complicated a flat closure of the journal becomes.
Sayonara my peeps!

It’s been a few weeks since I began reorganising my studio space and I’m still in the “where did I put that” aftermath.
This has meant a pause in creating time, and in turn caused me to take a pause from online doings. And this, naturally, is also part of the global pause/chaos. How are you doing, are you still afloat?
One thing that has not paused is my ‘Book of Days’, this ginormous book of…

Establishing Patterns: finishing one routine and beginning another
Habits and routines are not my favorite things. Morning coffee is an exception to that, as well as finding my car keys. Other than those things, I have to work purposefully to establish routines to accomplish different goals — although, come to think of it, late evening snacking seems to come pretty easily.
