Last week while dusting off my space, I found bits and pieces of a really old paper collection in a bag at the bottom of a drawer. So I sat down and this mini #junkjournal was born in one go.
#SNAPSHOTS No. 6 on the short notes Series for all #newbies who want to take the #junkjournal plunge.
A signature is the section that makes up the basis of a junk journal. It is a set of pages nested one inside another to create sections within your journal.
Each section is a booklet of 4 to 8 pages folded in half. The number of signatures will depend on the width and spine of the cover.
A set of booklets makes up a junk journal and it should be specified that a 4-page booklet makes a total of 16 pages (recto / verso) so keep in mind the number of pages you will have to fill and decorate.
Also, if you plan to add a lot of decorations and / or dimensional accessories, remember that the more elements you add to the pages, the more bulky they become, then the more complicated a flat closure of the journal becomes.
