It’s Another day, and another slightly late episode of news of Flipdecks arriving!

This time on flipdeck releases, we got Okalani’s flipdeck, which may seem innocent at first glance, with Okalani enjoying the best of what life gives her.

However, a few users in the flipline forum have looked up information about these mentioned pool houses she and her aunt work on, and.. they found a rather shocking discovery.

According to their research, Pool houses are not to house people unless a permit is aquired, and adding the fact Oka is also working in weekends, most have come to the conclusion that Makalia may not be as cool as an aunt as we firstly assumed.

What are your thoughts everyone? Personally, I’m shocked about how unexpectedly dark this flipdeck is. also considering it’s of someone so laid-back as Oka is.

Latest news: A new flipdeck today, a less new one before.

Franny here! Apologies for how long it’s taken me to do this, but i’m here now, ready to show you Boopsy & Bill’s and also Chase’s flipdecks!

Let’s start with Bill’s card... “wait, Bill’s card? why’s that?” you may wonder. Weeeell.. this one is certainly about Bill alright. Even MORE than Boopsy himself, who’s only been described as “a lowly janitor”

Now to Chase’s!

My my! Seems like Mr Snake man especializes in caring for more than just snakes! 

It was a rather unexpected discovery to see Chase get a deck before a customer like Rollie, who’s existed for longer.. then again we did get the botwursts between Liezel and others before! So we might get Yuko’s or Budwin’s soon! What do y’all think?

He's in a band! ..and argues a lot with his cousin for creative differences 😅

Fun fact: The name of Drakson's band appeared previously in Janana's Flipdeck, along Scarlett & The shakers and The Beach Cobblers. (Will we see the 3rd band in the future?)

Today on Flipdeck releases: Evelyn!

Evelyn is a rich lady that is in retirement from her actress career, living in a nice mansion in Sakura Bay. It has been confirmed, thanks to this new card, that Evelyn is Olivia's Grandma!

How are we feeling about Petrona being a film producer, everyone?

I'm happy! Because she seems really cool, and I love a good "woman who's often busy but still wants to have friends" trope!

She and Quinn will definitely be friends in my hcs haha

I saw your post and I didn’t really understand the whole “pool house” thing so can you explain it to me. (Like what’s so dark about that?) Thank you.

I also didn't understand at first and had a friend explain it to me, so lemme do the same for you.

Basically, Okalani's aunt is using the pool houses for the wrong purpose, as she is letting people stay in them as if they were hotel rooms when legally you are not allowed to unless you have a permit.

(I have a theory this might be because of the size of the island, maybe there isn't space or budget to build a proper hotel for tourists)

Okalani's aunt also has her working most of the week, even weekends, which is labor exploitation. All of this to get "quick" Money, as suggested by the users who thought of this first.

The dark thing about this is that Okalani is not at all aware of her aunt's scheme, and seems to shrug it off as long as she gets time to be with her friends to look at the sunset.
