hello, im drinking milk & honey by floating leaves tea. i recently ordered 4 oolongs from them so expect more oolong content. this is what they say about this tea on their website: “It is grown in Dong Ding from the Jin Xuan (milk oolong) cultivar, and very lightly touched up by our teacher to enhance the clarity and bring out the personality of the tea.”

i think it’s great! i honestly am enjoying it more than the baozhong from yesterday. i brewed it basically the same: 6ml tea in 100ml gaiwan, 210 F, 30 seconds for the first steep. love the creamy taste. anytime anyone says “milk” i’m there

it’s one of those days where i have so many questions, and not the type you can just type into google

first time drinking baozhong (i think) which i got from floating leaves tea based out of seattle. this is the 2022 spring farmer’s choice baozhong

i brewed 5g for 100ml gaiwan with slightly less than boiling water for 30 secs the first steep, then 40 and so forth

this baozhong is from pinglin, taiwan. baozhong is a very low oxidation tea (>10%) and is also low elevation compared to lots of other taiwanese oolongs

its very light & clean & floral
