17. May 3, Wed. I was trying to practice single-unders while the other class was still in session. So afterwards, Coach Ram said that'll be my warmup instead and we can proceed with the skill part of the workout. For the handstand progression, he asked me to kick up from the floor and for the last attempt he assisted me so that I could do a handstand. Then he asked me to walk 5 sets while lifting two 10-lb DBs with the objective of keeping my core in tact without collapsing or arching back still as a prep for handstands. For the actual WOD, I only managed to reach up to the 4th set of floor presses plus some lateral burpees which I failed to count since I was just trying to do as many as I can before the 12 minute time cap was up. Felt energized after taking a shower, I felt like I could go out walking like Marion of the BBC dad fame.
