Guys more than anything, I am urging people not to buy the Flopstick sidekick in Fortnite, more than the other sidekicks available.

They're already ridiculously priced to start with at 1200-1500 vbucks, and Flopstick costs 1500 v-bucks. That's as much as a full-sized playable skin.

The sidekicks have a lock-in feature, which means that after you customize the appearance of pet, you don't get to customize him again. If you want more options you're going to have to buy him again.

Most have 4-5 options, different fur color, accents, whether you want to make him a good boy or an ABSOLUTE UNIT, but Flopstick only lets you customize his scales, fins, lips, and one style - stripes.

STRIPES!

Fishstick, the skin the pet is based off of, is 1200 v-bucks, has 3-5 edit styles that you can edit with no limit, and the pet has less customization than the skin and costs more!

People have been saying vote with your wallet. I can't tell you what to do, but if you want to buy a sidekick, i cannot stop you. I'm telling you that the monetization offered here is predatory and consumer unfriendly, and I urge people to reconsider their purchase when buying these pets. They should have more customization options an unlimited number of times for the price they offer.

But if there is one thing that I am urging people not to do, over anything else in this post it's to not buy Flopstick. In my considerable opinion, he is 100% a total ripoff, and a travesty of a microtransaction.

DO NOT BUY THE FLOPSTICK SIDEKICK IN FORTNITE HE IS A RIPOFF!!!
