Globe Changes
Shorelines are very recessed due to water levels rising, caused some old human cities to be partially underwater
Florida is completely cut off from the mainland
While countries are renamed and borders redrawn, Fauna use old human city/state names to help describe locations
Earth is now called “Flora” by the elevated animals
Empire of Nymphus: collections of kingdoms and nations around Flora’s oceans and major bodies of water

Not all animals are elevated, some are still wild creatures. Fauna have their own separate populations
Humans went extinct due to: resource depletion, Nuclear warfare(only some places), global warming, and AI
Fauna were elevated 30ish years after the last of humanity died out
The night sky is always lit with stars, but also old satellites and space debris
Old zoos continue to have some of the most diverse populations
It's seen as taboo to not wear a chest covering, this is due to the early belief of the first Fauna that covering one's chest was a sign of respect to the Patrons.
Fauna will wear old human clothes, and even clothes made by Fauna
Common transportation: old wagons(often pulled by wild horses), boats, riding horses, or by foot

Bit of a zealous group, but mean well
Often wear white or gold robes
Pray to light multiple times a day
Maintain the temples and run them
Temples
Any area/town with old religious places will have a temple
Used to be for praying for a child
Temples are usually in old religious places of worship (churches, islamic temples, etc etc)
It's common for decaying infrastructure to be turned into shrines to light if fauna live farther from the nearest temple
Time Structures
Fauna celebrate life in seasonal timelines
1 completion of the four seasons is referred to as a solar cycle or year.
Each season starts on an equinox/solstice
Fauna use human time structures: minutes, hours, day/night cycles, weeks, months, years etc
Fauna are very in tune with the lunar cycle and equinoxes/solstices
Technology
this one is subject to a lot of change
Everything virtual is lost due to the lack of humans to maintain internet connections and digital servers
Analog technology is still decently preserved
Some robots remain, but none are “human like”
The Fauna don't have tons of knowledge on how technology works so only simple things like gas stoves and stuff of the like is able to be used
AI exists but its disconnected form the world
