When you have posts waiting in drafts for when you get popular /silly
Asking my parents what my OCs names would be
Btw this was with no context other than their designs
Fawn
Mom- angel
Dad- “goat, Billy! Billy goat.”
Calamity
Mom- “foxy, oh my brains mushy. Idk something fall ish? Autumn? Fall? Fawn? No fawns an animal. Spice?”
Dad- Renold (?????)
Ren
Mom- snowball, snowflake, winter
Dad- skunk (?????)
Nectar
Mom- sunbeam
Dad- sage
Calamity became an apothecary and healer. Her magic as a coreweaver allows her to heal many things without the help of Flora’s harvest, but she often feels that letting things heal naturally can do you some good as well.
Calamity took after her father, who was an apothecary. Though she was self taught due to her parents passing when she was 13. She keeps his practice alive by utilizing his books and journals.
Quick doddle^ first 3 images are from Pinterest
Ren is from far north and the tundra village she lived in had sparse foliage and flowers. When Ren and her family moved in her youth closer to the Larkspur border, Ren discovered beautiful flowers and foliage.
This encouraged Ren to become a florist and study nature in larkspur. This is how Ren and Nectar met, and then later how she met Calamity.

“Turn left at the house in the field. Then go up the road in the hallway. All souls start there.”
I imagine Light’s realm is very dream core/liminal space/weird core
Light creates souls, and what isn’t alive and dies comes here. The humans infrastructure and old hopes and dreams live here
“Hey all this old human infrastructure is so small, and they’re like bigger than most of us! How did they even fit in any of this?”
“No clue. Maybe this is for their young? But all the stuff is big.. humans musta hated their lives.”

“What do you think humans needed all these roads for?”
“I’m not sure, I guess they always needed to go somewhere? But this one is pretty big, I can’t image crossing it if there were cars.”
Picture taken under a 4 lane road near my home
I can image my OC’s exploring the forgotten places between human and nature, imaging why us humans would ever try and hide away something so beautiful
Ren! My sweet baby girl
I’m experimenting with eye color, I think I should have made the eyes really dark blue or brown. In nature arctic wolves have like amber brown eyes…
For reference I use feet but this website wanted centimeters…
For my fellow Americans: Calamity 5’2, Ren 4’5, Nectar 3’1, and Fawn 6’0
When the digital falls nature makes way for life again

Still trying to do a few digital doodles! Maybe an animatic will be in order eventually
Fallout is a big inspiration, especially for the mutated Fauna and rad zones
The series is one of my favorite games series and I just love it :]
I can also image a lot of cities have fallout vibes due to the Fauna using scrap and old buildings as places of shelter

Prelude Letter from Keefe to his mother
Dear Mother,
Today marked the first day of the Fall Equinox, and with it an exciting new chapter of my life! I was formally inducted as an official scholar of HKS alongside two other initiates. The ceremony itself was modest given the busy Harvest Festival celebrations in the streets of Alinam. Nevertheless, the ceremony was meaningful to me. We were introduced to the Librarian of Alinam and given a tour through the vast inner workings of the library. Behind the furnished wooden shelves were busy logistical clerks working with the AVO carriers flying through the open oculus of the library.
I met several fascinating people throughout the day, each one more intriguing than the last. I feel as if I am entering a tight-knit community of scholars that each hold their own unique story. I predict that the following months will be spent uncovering each of their own backgrounds!
Oh but how could I forget the librarian! He is nothing like what I had in mind. He is small in stature even as a red panda, yet he commands the room with such commanding intensity! His manner of speaking can only be described as uncompromising, and he wanted little time establishing the distinction between our status and his own. He told us, oh so clearly, that we are fortunate to be a part of his library. Though he acts and speaks quite severely, I cannot deny that his presence inspires a certain respect.
It seems I will soon be sent eastward to the plains and to study ancient architecture. This is my first assignment! One that both excites and unsettles me for sure. The thought of travelling so far from home is intimidating but the thrill of exploring these ruins and proving myself a spectacular scholar is undeniable!
The coming months will no doubt change me in ways that I have yet to imagine. Still, I will write often to keep your worries at ease and inform you of all that I will see and learn.
With all the love and devotion,
Keefe
This was written by one of my friends who has been helping me world build! His character is a giant panda training as a scholar to become a keeper one day.
Unfinished Calamity and Nectar
Done on procreate pocket
Will I finish it? Probably not
Rising sea levels from human times and the planet shifting over a thousand years has caused cities to collapse underwater.
These old cities are used by aquatic Fauna
