I had to make my own version of @theabditories’s Mikaelson masterlists!!! (Format stolen from them!) It just seemed so fun! I’m adding a few from the OC oven that haven’t been developed enough for me to talk about openly before this.

Flora's Mikaelson and Mikaelson-Adjacent OCs

Rúna ✶ Mikael’s younger sister, who tries valiantly to deal with the fallout of Mikael killing their father and marrying Esther. Her story mostly revolves around the strange place of power and simultaneous disenfranchisement occupied by women in Norse society. Things get weird when Esther realizes she can’t have children. (AU: Unethical polyamory.)

A known kisser of: Mikael, Ansel, Esther, and Dahlia. And Rias’s Adinah, if I should be so lucky. (Maybe Lady Morgana if Lilly hears my prayers.)

Elias ✶ Freya’s twin from a different timeline ends up in canon, where he was never born. His first order of business is to kill Mikael and then have his new buddy (Dahlia, who is really less his buddy and more a person who realizes there is mutualistic symbiosis to be had with someone happy to let her hitch her life force to his immortality) and his other buddy (Freya, who is just happy to have a brother around) turn his siblings so he can keep them around forever! His good mood lasts right up until he realizes they don’t know who he is. (AU: a Mikaelson OC is dropped into canon.)

A known kisser of: all his siblings. (Sometimes for good and sometimes for evil.)

Hadassah ✶ Dahlia’s weird changeling child, whom she has with the actual essence/concept of magic Shmi Skywalker-style. Conceived and born at the same time as Freya, Hadassah is a known freak of nature who understands animals and plants, and gets really into being weird as hell and super spooky as a hobby. (AU: Freya gets a creepy sister-cousin-wife.)

Known kisser of: Freya and her mom. Sometimes she makes out with her cousins or Silas and Amara, but mostly sticks to Freya as a general rule. When they exist together, she is pentuple-married to Aaron, Freya, Finn, Bryn, and Bartholomew. She is also of the opinion that she is allowed to kiss any of the brides her spouses pick up.

Bartholomew ✶ Born between Freya and Finn, Barth is a seer of terrible visions of the future who loses his connection to magic when he is turned, making his visions go all weird and horrific and haunted. He loses a significant portion of his mind, throws himself into religion, and spends several centuries wandering the wilderness on and off, speaking in tongues, eating locusts, and becoming a weird feral prophet. Sometimes exists as the twin brother of @whateverthought’s OC Hannah. (AU: The Bennetts get an evil sexy priest guard dog.)

A compulsive Bennett kisser—he can sniff one at 500 paces. Also a known kisser of: Freya, Elijah, Rias’s Bryn and Aaron, and Julia’s Grace. He kisses Hadassah when they exist at the same time, but it gives him a headache and makes his skin itchy, so he tries to avoid it when he can. He also likes kissing Miriam, but specifically after the merge when she tastes like death and resurrection. He loves kissing Harvest witches on the side.

Delilah ✶ Born four years after Finn and ten months before Elijah, Delilah arrives with a quick temper, a quicker smile, and a hatred for her new circumstances so intense that, somewhere across the supernatural world, millions shiver for reasons they won’t understand until much later. (AU: A relatively sane—but sort of evil—person stuck in a body with a chemical imbalance she can’t medicate for a millennium.)

Known kisser of: many dead NPCs and every sister she can get her hands on. She is also a certified Rebekah and Davina kisser. When I’m feeling mean, I make her kiss Mikael and Elijah—sometimes at the same time. Elijah wants to be a Delilah bride sooooo bad that it ruins his life. She loves sticking her fingers into Rias’s babies, including but not limited to: blonde!Delilah (who makes her crazy), Eira (who is surprisingly a good influence), Soren (who makes her even crazier), Atlas (whom she is allowed to steal whenever she wants!!! Thanks!!), and Astoria (whom Rias said she can kiss, which has made me shake like a dog in heat.) She is also a known kisser of @lady-of-imladris's OC Grace Salvatore and @crimsonlyinglilly's Adara Mikaelson (to me). She also makes out sloppy with @endless-natterings’s daughter Maisie.

Salome ✶ A siphon born between Elijah and Klaus. With Mikael becoming more violent by the day, Esther grows desperate to at least get someone out and sets her up to be married. It would be a lovely idea if Salome didn't freak out and run away the night before the wedding. (AU: a runaway bride gets caught in Silas’s web.)

Known kisser of: the Cure trio.

Dinah ✶ Another hot babe born between Elijah and Klaus. She immediately books it after getting her daylight ring, and spends a lot of time in North and South America doing her own thing. It gets very awkward when her siblings eventually show up in New Orleans, considering she was there first. She’s married to an entire coven of witches. It’s like… a sister-wife situation, except she’s been with this coven for a few centuries now and she usually has a few paramours from each generation. (AU: medieval Mikaelson cult leader.)

Known kisser of: idk yet!

Idalia ✶ Mostly exists alongside Rias’s Mianna as one of Klaus’s triplet sisters. She occasionally exists on her own, but it is not her final form. A pathetic, beaten-down song bird who resents the cage but doesn’t have hands to open it. (AU: Klaus gets more sisters to torture.)

Kisses Mianna and Soren on the regular. Accidentally ends up down bad with several Klelijah brides—Aurora, Aya, Celeste, and Stefan. When I’m playing dolls with Lilly, she gets to kiss Sigrun.

Miriam ✶ Born between Klaus and Kol. Daggered for 890 years and came out strange and wrong. The most beloved daughter of the concept of the tragic goodbye. (AU: You are a rotten, no-good bodysnatcher.)

Kisses many people and functionally no one—mostly, people are Miriam kissers rather than the other way around. Married to Rias’s OC Soren (to me) and in love with Atlas (also to me). Sometimes Julia’s daughter Grace kisses her, but Grace loves the worst people in Miri’s life too much to be a serious contender—she is doing the emotional equivalent of kissing Miri for Elijah’s gratification. Infamous victim of her siblings’ kisses, because they are all very weird about it. She willingly kisses Jeong-Hui, Elena, and her babies (Kol, Bekah, and Henrik). Also kisses Endless’s OC Maisie.

Johanna ✶ Ansel and Esther’s second child, born between Kol and Rebekah—an avoidant queen who somehow manages to avoid anyone finding out she’s a hybrid, meeting the de Martels, crossing paths with Mikael, or learning about the daggers through the power of being really good at camping. At least until 1701, when Rebekah lures her to Cádiz to be daggered. (AU: time to run away and live in the woods as hermits.)

Known kisser of: Rias’s Atlas and Bryn, with whom she shares many infamous soulmateisms. This does mean that she sometimes has something going on with Atlas and Bryn’s other spouses.

The Triplets ✶ Simeon, Judith, Tamar ✶ Born after Rebekah, pushing Henrik’s birth year back by several years, which means the other Mikaelsons are older when they’re turned. They are a terrible three-headed beast!!! Simeon is the nicest of the batch (and is an honorary Mikaelson Sister from a childhood spent trading clothes and chores with Judith) while Judith is the politically minded cold one and Tamar is the manipulator who has lied so often that she has completely lost herself to those lies. One of them is almost always daggered, and the three keep a menagerie of witches at their disposal so they can use magic to allow the daggered one to hitch a ride in the body of one of the upright triplets. (AU: Elena’s no-good, very-bad lesson in seduction.)

The three are known kissers of Elena Gilbert and Rias’s Iliana. Simeon gets to kiss Kolbekah and Stelena, depending on the AU. He is also a beloved kisser of Soren and Eira. Simeon is a famous exception to many sister-only kissers, who correctly identify him as “functionally another sister.” He is also a famous kisser of @neeeeeklaus’s OC Freya II. Judith dabbles in Frenn and Beremy. She doesn’t get a lot of unique kissers because most people correctly identify her as dangerous almost immediately. Tamar has the displeasure of kissing Klelijah on a professional level, but she does get to indulge in Forwood on the side. She also gets to make out sloppy and mean with Soren after he finds out she got him daggered, like, twenty times. Rias's daughter Angela wants to make out with Tamar in front of Elijah sooooo bad, but Tamar thinks she’s stupid and wishes she were dead. (They make out with tongue.)

Heathrow Melrose ✶ The heir of a minor founding family that has run the local funeral home for generations. I have a whole family breakdown here. He’s married to Madeline and is Sophronia’s father.

Madeline Donovan ✶ Kelly’s older sister by, like, twenty-ish years. The Woke Left will point out that her younger sister dropping out of school at sixteen and her mother trotting out little Kelly as the result of a cryptid pregnancy was a little weird. Do they have a point? Perhaps but please stop asking about it!!!

The Proto-Gang ✶ (This is Grayson’s era. It includes: Abby, Bill, Carol, Grayson, Kelly, Liz, Miranda, Richard, and Zach. Rudy, Gail, Tripp, and Pastor Young are typically adjacent members.)

William “Liam” Sommers ✶ Born in 1970, Liam is two years older than Miranda and graduated with Carol and Richard. He is a lifelong bachelor, a known slut, and an infamous third in several relationships. He had a threesome with Liz and Bill (a long time in the making) and was unofficially the reason for their divorce. On the flip side, he accidentally saved Richard and Carol’s marriage during theirs. He also had a thing with Abby/Rudy and some deeply strange energy with Grayson. Despite the reputation, Liam is surprisingly responsible—he’s been the Whitmore College IT guy for, like, twenty years so he’s pretty stable. Vicki calls him to bail her out of trouble all the time because he’s friends with Kelly, and he is the Designated Adult the rest of the gang sends to check in on her kids. He’s basically the gang’s fun uncle, except he’s slept with half their parents. (AU: a different Sommers sibling gets custody of Elena and Jeremy.)

Known kisser of: the entire proto-MFG at various points. He was an object of affection for Jenna’s generation (much to her disgust) and kisses Mason a little bit when he comes back as an adult. He was sort of infamous for being in love with Abby’s cousin Pauline in high school, but in his main AU she’s murdered (more on that in her entry). Every few years he donates another significant portion of money to one of those cold-case organizations that offers cash rewards for any information leading to a conviction.

Pauline Bennett ✶ Technically!!!! Not an OC but I’ve claimed her! She’s Liam’s lady love, but she exists in my stories even when Liam doesn’t. She is most often the Bennett I have Grayson and Abby kill to put Mikael down, which gets Abby cut off from the ancestors. When Pauline doesn’t die, her father—August, another Bennett OC of mine and one of Sheila’s unnamed siblings—is the one they kill and Pauline dies soon after. A very tragic girl. In rare AUs where she survives, she takes over raising Bonnie.

Marigold Lockwood ✶ Richard and Mason’s sister, born between them but much closer in age to Richard. She triggers her witch gene around the same time Richard triggers the werewolf curse, and throws herself into finding a cure for lycanthropy, no matter the cost. Because Marigold is a Lockwood, close with the Gilbert brothers, and evil, she becomes involved not only with the Council, but also with Augustine. She plays the field by selling daylight rings to Slater on the side in exchange for information. Eventually, Marigold’s hunt for a cure takes her to New Orleans, where she meets Marcel a few years before the Crescent curse. When baby Hayley needs somewhere to go, Marcel chooses the not-quite-friendly, but at least familiar Lockwood witch he knows—and, well, Marigold isn’t maternal, but Carol very much is. (AU: Hayley is raised as a member of the Lockwood family.)

Known kisser of: a big proponent of evil polyamory among the proto-MFG. Long-standing situationship with Zach Salvatore. Sometimes she dog-walks Elijah with Katherine. She kisses Rias’s (@theabditories) OC Poppy religiously.

Sophronia Melrose ✶ A gaslight-gatekeep girlboss wakes up in a world she remembers from TV reruns and wiki binges, stranded in a small-town funeral home twenty minutes outside Mystic Falls—and directly in the path of the Mikaelsons. Unfortunately for her, this reality comes with soulmates. (AU: sideways fix-it fic meets a secret comedy of errors and the isekai soulmate trope, featuring a secretly psycho FL.)

Known kisser of the Mikaelsons. Sometimes she gets to dog-walk Damon. OG!Fronia was canonically a Jenna and Mason kisser.

Eleanor Gilbert ✶ Grayson and John’s younger sister, though she’s significantly closer in age to John (he’s, like, four-ish years older than her) than Grayson. She’s a member of The Five, and accidentally triggers her curse as a teenager, becoming part of Alexander’s weird, curse-given hive mind, where she has dozens upon dozens of former hunters bumping around in her head and bossing her around. Initially tis was meant to be a soulmate AU, but I’m rethinking that. I like the storyline, but I think it’s probably more fun if I take it in a different direction. (AU: Jeremy isn't the Gilbert family's first supernatural hunter.)

Known kisser of: Elijah. This will probably change though—in my most recent review of her outline and the chapters I’ve written, I realized I don’t love the version of her that emerges after she gets entangled with him. In another life, she could be a Tristan kisser, but he’s too much of a coward to try this luck. Definitely a Silas kisser if they ever meet. If you ask me, she is secretly a kisser of many of Rias’s most dangerous hotties but!!!! A rare L where I have not discussed this with them. Perhaps in another life (a few weeks from now) I will update this post to include some of those.

Christopher and Seth Fell ✶ Christopher is the father of the three Fell sisters: Valerie, Tina, and Blair. Seth is Violet’s father. They’re Logan’s older brothers. They’re keeping secrets together and doing creepy stuff with the Augustine Society with Wes Maxfield and the Whitmore siblings.

Canon Era

Opal Bennett ✶ Abby Bennett’s baby sister—she was going to be around eleven when Mikael rolled into town, but I found out that Rias had a whole squad of 1991 OCs and I started to feel left out, so she’s, like, four or five now instead. A few years later, she finds out portions of the truth and decides that if Klaus Mikaelson is destined to come for Elena one day, then someone ought to be ready to put him down. On her quest to become the person to do the putting down, she gets witchnapped by Tristan and becomes part of his pet coven. Eventually (because she is a trained Bennett witch and therefore not especially stoppable) Opal leaves the Strix behind and heads to New Orleans, where her research into the Mikaelsons continues through more kidnapping, minor breaking and entering, and the usual gradual collapse of everyone’s best-laid plans. (AU: get in, losers, let’s make the golden dagger right this time.)

Known kisser of: Kol and Rebekah, mostly. A notorious Freya kisser and they end up accidentally hurting each other in such acute ways that neither of them ever really gets over it. Sometimes I let Tristan sleep with her because I think it’s hot. Rias’s Anthony Lockwood is her appropriate teenage boyfriend for a hot minute before he starts kissing someone else and Opal gets really into supernatural murder mysteries professionally. She kisses the entire Koriam + Atlas group (Atlas is her favorite, which is typical) on the regular and sometimes @neeeeeklaus’s Freya II.

Tyla Lockwood ✶ aka Female!Tyler Lockwood. In several versions, she is a kisser of the Mikaelsons as a messed-up unit… and sometimes Klaus digs his nails in too deep and she never gets to kiss Rebekah like she so deeply desires. In every AU she gets to make out absolutely sloppy with Hayley—in at least one of those versions, she runs off with Finn the night of the Ball.

Famous kisser of Rias’s Tyra (bowshipping <3 my beloved) and Atlas (also famous to me btw <3). Soren enjoys kissing her but is turned off by how absolutely insane Klaus gets about it. Tyla finds him to be a little spineless as result—which is maybe a cruel interpretation of the facts… but not entirely inaccurate. She probably tells him the best part of kissing him is his husband at some point. I look forward to seeing whether that hurts his feelings or makes it hotter for him. She gets absolutely dog nasty with Freya II btw. In versions where Liv shows up, no one else manages to kiss her without going through Liv. She has a weird situationship with fellow Mikaelson victim Jemma when they exist together.

Natalie Gilbert ✶ Born dead due to some doppelganger nonsense and brought back by Abby, so Nat grows up as a medium who can see the ghosts of pretty much anyone with a vested interest in her existence. Unfortunately, in a practical sense, this means other doppelgangers and anyone with a reason to be interested in Klaus’s curse—so, a lot of former Mikaelson Brides and Wives—which means she grows up knowing she is destined to die.

Leading up to the sacrifice, Klaus tosses a coin and ends up killing Elena in this version too, then snatches Natalie and Stefan in the aftermath. After some trial and error, he realizes he can use Natalie’s blood to make his hybrids. With no reason to return to Mystic Falls, he drags the pair to New Orleans instead—leaving Elena, Jeremy, and a surviving Jenna searching for her.

In New Orleans, Klaus (for reasons) decides it’s finally time to reunite the band—so suddenly Finn is free after nine centuries, Kol has access to New Orleans witches again, Rebekah is trapped in the same city as Marcel, Stefan, and a doppelganger, and Elijah is lowkey disturbed by what Klaus’s relationship with Nat has become. Meanwhile, Natalie, Stefan, and Marcel quietly ally against Klaus and save Monique and Davina from the Harvest along the way. While all that is happening Jackson breaks his sire bond and becomes Natalie’s Tyler-equivalent, Eva starts kidnapping children, Celeste returns to town, Kieran tells Sean the truth, Henrik’s ghost starts demanding Natalie rescue “his sister” from a witch asylum, the Mystic Falls gang stumble onto Hayley while searching for Natalie, and Klaus, unfortunately for absolutely everyone, starts developing human emotions for the girl he has already thoroughly ruined things with. (AU: obligatory doppeltwin AU.)

Known kisser of: many, many, many people, but chief among them are Elena, Sean, Davina, Monique, Kol, and Rebekah. She is an infamous Klaus kisser and hater. Elijah wishes they were kissing sooooo badly. She would like to be a Vicki kisser, but Vicki thinks she’s sort of lame most of the time. In some versions, she kisses Stefan, but they’re both secretly thinking about Elena the whole time. Spiritually Natalie is always a Tyler kisser, but she rarely gets the chance to try. There is an AU where Tyler and Natalie are both Klaus kissers against their will and are willing to do unspeakable things to save the other. Nat is highkey married to Rias’s Astoria and by extension Jeremy, and she is also a significant figure in the Soriam poly monster ship. She enjoys kissing Soren and is trying to get him to scheme with her in any AU where they exist together—but she will happily settle for Atlas, whom she finds more reasonable. @endless-natterings's babe Jimena and @mariedemedicis’s OC Abby kiss her often (in my heart)

Cosette Donovan ✶ 1994 baby!!! Exists as the twin sister of @theabditories’s OC Lizzie Donovan. Very rarely does Cos exists on her own, but when she does, it’s palpable that she's missing something.

In her main story she goes to cheer camp the summer the Gilbert parents die and gets final-girled by a vampire, but manages to kill him after he rips through everyone else. She is an absolutely turbo-bitch conspiracy nut after that (and a little bit before too) who knows her sister didn’t run away. She eventually uncovers the full truth and makes a deal with the Martins—she’ll free Elijah in exchange for them killing the Salvatores. She holds up her end, but then the Martins die, so she pivots and makes the same deal with Elijah: she’ll help with the Klaus plot if he kills the Salvatores. She follows through. He doesn’t. So she pivots again. She makes a deal with Rebekah when she comes to town—same end terms—but then Rebekah gets daggered. Then it’s Mikael. He dies. Then Klaus. She fulfills her side and helps him find the coffins, and he doesn’t follow through because of his whole Stefan-shaped situationship. At some point, she saves Finn’s life at the Grill and makes another deal with Finn and Sage. (AU: local final girl’s conspiracy board is starting to deeply concern the people who love her.)

Known kisser of: Rebekah, usually. She kisses Lizzie and fem!Matt. She also gets really weird with Elena—and Natalie and fem!Jeremy as an extension. In my head, she tries talking Rias’s Mikaelsons into making even more deals—how successful that goes is undecided. If you ask me she is a famous Tyra kisser.

Laurel Lockwood ✶ Tyler's little sister!! The werewolf member of the 1994 gang!!! My favorite version of her damage is where Tyler is Tyla, but she’s fun regardless! A bit bitchy, sure! But she’s funky and fresh.

She’s wanted to kiss Jeremy for most of her life and then he started kissing Bonnie, and Laurel realized that actually she wanted to kiss Bonnie too!! She joins Qetsiyah as a member of the “both of my crushes have decided to bypass me in order to kiss each other instead” club. She takes it very poorly and retaliates by trying—and failing—to kiss Elena. She shoots her shot one more time, drunk as hell, and successfully kisses Katherine Pierce (based as hell btw) then gets extra embarrassed because Elena acts like nothing happened the next day. Now they are enemies forever and she’s decided that she will kiss Jenna in retaliation, only to miss her chance when Jenna dies, which means she’s back to square one!!! Which means she’s needs to kiss Jeremy or die trying!!!! That’ll show Elena!!! And Bonnie!!!! And Jeremy also, somehow!!

In the end, she trips and falls into becoming a Jackson Kenner kisser through the power of ending up in NOLA after Tyler kills his girlfriend (who Laurel was also in love with!!! She was trying to angle for poly with Liv!!! But it didn’t work!!!! She’s surrounded by clowns.) Things get even weirder she finds out apparently her former crush Hayley Marshall slept with Klaus and had his baby and apparently Laurel’s brother tried to kill her, and, like. Okay. Get over it. Obviously he didn’t try that hard because it’s a baby and it’s alive. Are you stupid? It’s not even that hard to kill a baby. Bring Laurel a baby right now and she’ll prove it.

She also makes out with Hayley but resents that Hayley is also kissing Elijah on the side so every night Laurel prays for Elijah to explode and die. She ends up as Hope’s babysitter a vast majority of the time and she makes that kid a thousand times weirder. She and Klaus have mad beef, on account of her breaking her sire bond forever ago, but Laurel is of the opinion that they’re even because he’s always such a bitch to her. She also prays he’ll die so she can use Hope to babytrap Hayley and her husband. (AU: If Dahlia has a magic/legal claim on Hope, then Laurel would like to have one too!!! Time to go to magical paternity court!!!!!!!)

Jemma Gilbert ✶ aka fem!Jeremy! Not much else to say—Elena gets to be insane and develop a chronic stress ulcer after noticing the way that Kol Mikaelson is looking at her sister. Someone get her a gun.

A Kol and Davina kisser canonically. Part of the infamous Soriam + Davina + Atlas + Vivi + Co polycule, which has long since run well into the double digits. It’s Soren’s dream to collect her for Kol and Davina so they love him forever with the added benefit that Miriam has a buddy now!!! Which also means that all his kissing partners now have buddies!!! And he has no buddy to worry about trying to die on his behalf!!! It’s his dream!!! This man sees odd numbers in his nightmares istg.

Claudia Salvatore ✶ A baby!!!! A 1999-2000-ish baby!!! The result of a short lived relationship between Zach and a sort-of friend that fell apart because he was still reeling from Stefan’s shoddy compulsion. Damon kills her dad anyway... which sucks but now they're sort of stuck with a kid. (AU: Damon and Stefan get a practice baby. They viciously disagree on the subject of childrearing.)

Marsella Arryn ✶ the bitchy lesbian daughter of Rowena and Jon Arryn. Initially betrothed to her cousin Elbert but he died (score) so she got married to Renly of gay-flop fame instead, which sucks because ew but also yay because Renly matches her energy. Imagine the most rancid lavender marriage you can conceive of. They both decide to live separately and never speak to each other unless absolutely necessary. She has spent the entirety of her stepmother’s marriage to her father acting like she’s Lysa’s husband and playing house while Jon is busy in King’s Landing. This does, however, become an issue when Renly decides to elect himself as Possible King of Everything because Marsella does not like him or support him on principle (that principle being he has a penis) nor does she give a fuck about Ned Stark (on the same principle). (AU: the Vale is run by two lesbians, one of them is crazy and the other one is the meanest to ever do it.)

Kisser of: Lysa 😔✊ She also wants to kiss Catelyn, but Lysa would kill Marsella and everyone else in the room and then herself if it ever happened. She wanted to kiss Cersei BAD but correctly identified that it would only make Cersei worse and decided (uncharacteristically) to take one for the team (world peace) and leave introducing Cersei to the concept of sleeping with women to someone else.

Cerelle Lannister ✶ Cersei’s darling mini-me little sister, who she gets to be a narcissistic freak about. (What if you had two siblings that you cared about in your own Cersei way who were basically you, writ male, and you, writ small, and what if they both let you do anything and everything you wanted to do forever? What then?) She’s married to Baelor Hightower, who she has a daughter and son with. Tywin is constantly trying to figure out a way to make her son—who is gallant and clever and lovely—his heir instead of Tyrion. Cerelle wanted her daughter to marry Joffery, but Robert is being a bitch about it. (AU: Cersei’s psycho kids get an aunt. Who is, like, mostly normal and medium-adjusted, but also is a total Lannister about everything all of the time.)

Mainly a kisser of her older siblings, but she also kisses her husband (who is genuinely a very good husband! She really doesn’t deserve him or want him half the time but if you try to take him, she’s inventing a gun so she can use it on you). She wants to kiss Stannis soooooo bad. This is solely because she wants to also have her own Baratheon like Cersei, but she doesn’t want to sleep with Robert and Renly can sniff out an evil MILF at fifty paces and takes off in the other direction whenever she's around. She also sort of wants to kiss Ned because Jaime is insane about him.

Gaelora Celtigar ✶ tfw your dad is from one of the richest houses in your region but he dies, and your mom is from one of the oldest houses in your region but she dies, and your uncles kill each other on different sides of the first Blackfyre rebellion, and your aunt killed herself, so you’re raised by your grandfather, who keeps remarrying in a desperate bid to have more children, but it’s becoming clear that isn’t going to work. He's terrified that you will die too and his fear has made him kinder for it, so you’re given allowances other girls aren’t, and your maternal family are basically the wildlings of Crackclaw Point, so you’re basically a weird country bumpkin with grandpa’s amex card. And for years you and your brother are the final hope of your house, but your brother is good friends with Humfrey Hardyng and decides to take his place in The Trial of Seven and now even more people feel weird about the trial because not only did the heir to the throne die but so did the last male heir to House Celtigar and now the heir is a girl #weirdday. (AU: Dunk and Egg end up at Crackclaw Point for adventure reasons.)

A famous Dunk kisser because he feels SO bad about everything that happened and has a hard time telling her know. They all thought she might marry Aerion for a hot minute there on account of being a Valyrian bride with an inheritance, but it didn’t work out for obvious reasons. Sometimes I let her kiss Daeron but they’re #toxic together.

Aergal and Laelora Pyke ✶ my Great Bastard twins. They’re the children of Gysilda Farwynd and support different people during the Rebellion. Laelora supports the Blackfyres, while Aergal supports the crown. Laelora teaches Dagon Greyjoy most of what he knows and proudly refers to herself as Laelora Targaryen after being legitimized—during the rebellion, she raids the western coast on Daemon’s behalf. Aergal is Daeron’s “hope for the Iron Islands” and believes Daeron will unite the realm and make it stronger than ever before, so they have mad beef. They battle it out on their warships, Balerion and Vhagar, while their mother pilots Meraxes. Their war games tear apart the Iron Islands and the die together. (AU: Aegon IV is a smidgen sluttier.)

Sometimes they kiss each other, but usually they’re too busy to think about kissing before they die.

Rosamund Flowers ✶ another Great Bastard and the daughter of Aladora Florent, who pulls an Anne of Cleves when she manages to end her affair with the king peacefully and was allowed to remain at court. She manages to secure House Florent a pile of benefits during that time, including a Small Council appointment for her brother. Rosamund decides young that she wants to be a pyromancer, works often with wildfire, and is rumored to be a potions mistress. Like Daemon, she’s favored by their father. When Daeron tries to smooth over Blackfyre being gifted to Daemon by giving Dark Sister to Brynden, Aegon steps in and grants it to Rosamund instead. (Which sucks because she doesn’t fuck with swords, but Aegon says Dark Sister is the girl sword, so his daughter should get it.) She’s less important to her story than her mother is, who is the one who sends Fireball to warn Daemon and escapes with Daena. (AU: Aegon IV is a smidgen sluttier.)

Ceryse Flowers ✶ yet another Great Bastard but this one’s mother is a Hightower! She grows up in Oldtown in a motherhouse and is a Joan of Arc figure—a self proclaimed prophet who claims to be capable of reading glass candles. At thirteen, she’s sent to Kings Landing as a companion to her cousin, Rhaena, and at fifteen she leads a branch of the Faith Militant into battle during the Rebellion. Bloodraven suspects she’s a dragon dreamer but the truth is unclear. (AU: Aegon IV is a smidgen sluttier.)

In another life she could be kissing Rhaena but they’re both too weird to let themselves become so typical and boring by Targ standards. Kissing would be too normal for her.

Ellyn Storm ✶ another Great Bastard for the larger AU. Her mother is Gowena Baratheon, who was a widow when she had her affair with the king. They part amicably, neither realizing she’s pregnant. When the child is born with Targaryen features, Aegon claims her. She’s known to be a bit mad. At sixteen, she declares herself Elenei’s heir, flees Storm’s End, and starts a cult in the Stormlands, where she triggers a Faith Militant outbreak (and is that the branch that Ceryse eventually takes control of? probably!) that coincides with the Blackfyre Rebellion. There are rumors she successfully hatches a pair of dragon eggs with her half-brother Belthamore Snow. (AU: Aegon IV is a smidgen sluttier.)

Belthamore Snow ✶ the last of the Great Bastards for the Big AU™, he’s the great-grandnephew of Barba Bolton. His mother, Lysara, met Aegon when she arrived with her brother, the new heir to the Dreadfort, to reaffirm their allegiance. She was meant to make an advantageous match, but she caught the king’s eye while Melissa Blackwood was pregnant with Gwenys. Melissa reclaimed his affections quickly, but he remained "fond" of Lysara—and granted her the right to stay on Dragonstone without consulting his heir, further souring that relationship. Belthamore is a sullen boy raised almost entirely on Dragonstone. He meets Ellyn shortly after she flees, and together they try to hatch a clutch of dragon eggs he found on Dragonstone. (AU: Aegon IV is a smidgen sluttier.)

Elaenara Targaryen ✶ the youngest daughter of Aemma and Viserys, who is cartoonishly evil. She spends 99% of her time scheming but she’s constantly changing her mind about who to support, so she keeps having to undo her own plots. She’s had four husbands—each much older than her—who all die shortly after the wedding. She has no children yet. Elaenara is currently angling for Husband Number Five, hoping this one will stick.

She’s an isekai protagonist, so at first, she decides she’s getting out of dodge by marrying into the North. Pretty much everyone agrees a more appropriate match would’ve been Cregan, but Otto pushes the marriage to Rickon Stark instead. Elaenara decides Otto will be the first person she kills when she finally gets her dragon. (It should be noted that Otto is absolutely correct about keeping her away from power, she should not be trusted.)

She obviously settles into the North and does some tech uplift. When her husband finally croaks, she becomes regent—but Bennard steals power from her and kicks her out. She’s like “holy fuck??? illegal?????” and marries Theomore Manderly, who is somehow still kicking (though he almost immediately croaks) to get access to a bunch of boats. Then she sails to Dragonstone and claims a dragon. (Would Rhaenyra help her? Absolutely. Will Elaenara give her the satisfaction? Absolutely not.) She flies back to Winterfell, toasts Bennard, and then gets kicked out again, only this time it’s her dumb dad sending her dumb uncle because the North can’t just… have a dragon kicking around, and they want her to come home. Her fourth husband (still kicking around who number three was, I have a few ideas) is Vaemond—Daemon kills him, like, three months after the wedding and she is super annoying about it. (AU: Rhaenyra’s no-good, very-bad sister does no-good, very-bad stuff.)

Visenaera Targaryen ✶ a classic isekai protag with a dumb name as Daemon and Rhea’s daughter who is initially determined to use her foreknowledge of the book series to her advantage. The only problem? She wasn’t transmigrated into the book universe and she died two months before the television show was set to premiere, so she has no idea what the hell is going on. For a short period of time she considers playing nice with societal expectations, but quickly decides she can either conform to what Westeros considers a good woman and likely die in the upcoming civil war or she could do what she wants and also die in the upcoming civil war. In the end, she narrowly avoids marrying her fuckass uncle, ends up Dreamfyre’s rider, makes out sloppily with both Rhaenyra and Alicent, gets bullied into taking Aegon II as a ward, has two bastards of unknown origin, develops a weird relationship with Otto, and ends up entirely too important for her tastes. (Not necessarily in that order.) There’s still a Dance, during which time her weird bastard kids end up also becoming important—which makes everyone feel a type of way, largely because of Rhaenyra’s three brown-haired children. (AU: whatever I want to happen happens dammit!)

Eleanor ✶ modern girl in Middle-earth who decides that if she has to live here, then she’s going to clean up the neighborhood before she lets herself get too comfortable. She carries Haldir around like a little purse dog (unwillingly, on his part) and makes him hold all her stuff and do crime (and also good deeds ig) on her behalf. She saves Théodred’s life and starts the world’s first orc union. (AU: get in, losers, time to do the fix-it fic thing.)

Sometimes she kisses Haldir and his brothers. Sometimes I embrace the teenage girl who still lives in my soul and make Boromir kiss her.

Sona-Mahal ✶ Bilbo loses the One Ring in the chaos of the later part of The Hobbit, and it gets swept up in a river to find its next owner. Years later, a Haradi girl who has served Shahzadi Elaheh-un-Nissa in the zenana since she was a child comes across a tarnished ring on the edge of a stream. Sona crosses Harad on foot (with help) while Elaheh navigates a plot to assassinate her elder brother and the rising tensions of Sauron’s call to arms. It isn’t a tenth-walker fic—so things go pear-shaped very quickly. (AU: Mughal Empire-inspired Harad.)

There is almost no kissing in this one! It’s straight plot!

Sybil ✶ a doomsday survivalist who takes a tumble into a wormhole (who would have guessed one existed in the old well on her property?) after her husband pushes her in. She’s freaked out about the new world she finds herself in, and the freakishly long ears she now has… and the whole glowing thing. Yeah, she’s not a fan. So she decides to do Woods for a while to take the edge off. And she’s good at it—great, really! She’s so great at it that she accidentally does Woods for two decades, until she catches a fleeing Aredhel and Maeglin in one of her booby traps.

After she gets over the shock that, uh, somebody decided to download a weird language into her brain without telling her, and she can understand these freaks, she finds herself sympathetic to Aredhel’s plight and decides to Home Alone the woods to take out Eöl—horrific news for Curufin and Celegorm, who have at long last come to find their cousin. And whoops. They’re stuck hanging over her spiked pit trap. (AU: Aredhel survives.)

Simultaneously kisses Curufin, Celegorm, and Aredhel, but also none of them. Schrödinger’s kisser. When I want to do weird sex things, I have her meet Eöl first and they bang it out. Sometimes she makes kissy faces at Glorfindel who, depending on the AU, occasionally gets caught in her web.

Celecthel ✶ Lúthien’s super weird baby sister, who decides she's in love with Celegorm and is soooooooo annoying about it. She demands to go on the Silmaril quest or she’ll tell Dad and he’ll put Lúthien in PRISON and then her stinky human boyfriend will DIE. She brings elvish pliers and steals her own jewel so she can use it to coerce the Fëanorians into giving her Celegorm’s hand in marriage. Celegorm has never actually met her before any of this because she’s a freak who decided she was going to marry him after catching sight of him and his weird dog once in passing.

Kisser of Celegorm (obviously) but I make her kiss other people all the time!

Ende ✶ personally, I think everyone should have a Fingon/Maedhros/OC story in their soul. Mine is the one where Maedhros is saved a year earlier than canon by a half-elven girl with a bow—and her brother. She’s a feral monster. I’m still kicking around a name for her and her brother because I have to figure out how I feel about the divergence in Quenya and pick out something accurate. (Otherwise, the people who are really into the Tolkien linguistics part will show up and beat me up with chains.) But right now, she’s tentatively named Ende because I think it’s funny if her parents did the thing I do when I play Cult of the Lamb, where you name your kids/cultists numbers so you can remember who is the oldest.

Lómëanis ✶ tfw Fëanor's solemn weird goth daughter (her father-name is Netyafinwë lmfao) has a moment with Lucifer while he beefs with her dad. Meanwhile, she’s being tortured with visions of The End, and she can’t tell if that’s because she’s already lived this before or if she has foresight or if she’s just crazy. And God, it’s so easy to fall into the trap of apathy when Heaven isn’t even good. Their moment makes a strong enough impression that The Devil™ decides to snatch her when he jewelry-naps the Silmarils. (And if it extra pisses Fëanor off… well. Good.)

Partially a weird Melkor/Sauron/OC sex thing. (Time to get married to Lucifer and his secretary 😔) Occasionally, she kisses a Fingolfin son who didn’t make this list because he only exists sometimes.

Ñúleoril ✶ a Maia under the command of Námo and Vairë, her “domain” is that of wanderers, practitioners of witchcraft, and those undertaking ill-fated journeys. When Ñúleoril first entered Eä she awoke under the light of Telperion before stumbling into the Halls of Mandos, called to it by Námo, with whom her song had once mingled during the Music of the Ainur. For a short period of a few thousand years she was in charge of disassociating and holding Vairë’s thread spool. She was sent to Middle-earth during the Sleep of Yavanna and spends a significant amount of time training some Orome's hunting dogs into being her weird grims and hanging out with moths. (They're her #homies.)

No idea what long-term thing I could do with her—but I like it messy, so maybe she fucks Fëanor. I think that might be funny. (RIP Celegorm. What if your past situationship was a Vala and your new stepmom was a Maia, and they’re both weird as hell? Sucks to suck.)
