(1) Robe de satin blanc rosé. Corsage de velours noir, à petite pointe, recouvert par une berthe de dentelle, retenue devant par un nœud de velours, agrémenté d'une broche, et ornée sur les épaules par une riche application de dentelle rebrodée de perles. Manches ballon, brodées. Jupe à traîne, brodée sur les côtés et reliée devant sur un tablier de velours par des brandebourgs en perles fines. Au cou, collier de perles fines.

(1) Pinkish white satin dress. Black velvet bodice, with small point, covered by a lace berthe, held in front by a velvet bow, embellished with a brooch, and adorned on the shoulders by a rich lace appliqué embroidered with pearls. Balloon sleeves, embroidered. Skirt with train, embroidered on the sides and bound in front on a velvet apron by frogs in fine pearls. At the neck, a necklace of fine pearls.

Métrage: 20 mètres satin.

(2) Toilette de mousseline de soie blanche sur transparent bleu-bleuet. Corsage fermé sous ceinture de satin, drapée, décolleté en carré, avec garniture de renard bleu; têtes naturalisées devant et sur les épaules. Volant de dentelle au-dessus de la fourrure. Manches ballon, retenues par une agrafe-bijou. Jupe drapée sur le devant, garnie dans le bas par un volant de dentelle, posé en baldaquin et garni de fourrure comme le corsage. Riche broderie sur le côté. Perles fines au cou et en cache-peigne.

(2) Toilette of white silk chiffon on blue-cornflower transparent. Closed bodice under satin belt, draped, square neckline, with blue fox trim; naturalized heads in front and on the shoulders. Lace flounce above the fur. Puff sleeves, held in place by a jewel clasp. Skirt draped on the front, trimmed at the bottom with a lace flounce, posed as a canopy and trimmed with fur like the bodice. Rich embroidery on the side. Fine pearls at the neck and in the comb cover.

The Pink Dress by Alexandre Jacques Chantron (locatopn ?). From Amer Tree's photostream on flickr 780X1600 @72 275kj. This dress shows the transition from late Victorian to Edwardian dress with full sleeves from the former and the pouter pigeon bodice with waistband from the later. This could be from the late 1890s.
