re: the lack of good lgbt books the struggle is so real, esp when most of them are sad coming out stories. I just finished "everything leads to you" though and it was so good!! girls who love girls are just accepted as a fact, no coming out or homophobia and shit, and i really loved the book itself - would def recommend

i own that book! i just haven’t gotten around to reading that actually

also lexa teaching clarke to do the braids?? lexa's always had attendants who fix her hair, but clarke likes playing with it when it's loose and so pretty, and one day she's like "lexa... will you teach me to do the braids?" and clarke's terrible at it at first, there's a lot of giggling and lexa complaining about clarke pulling her hair, but eventually clarke gets the hang of it and it becomes their morning ritual, and there's just something so soft and gentle about clarke's hands in her hair

i LOVE the cclexa braiding each others hair aesthetic. it's so soft and gentle and i LOVE IT.

more soft clexa because i'm in the mood tonight i guess: lexa totally pretends to be all Broody and Dark even though clarke knows she's a softie, and when spring comes around lexa sneaks out while clarke is asleep and leaves wildflowers by the bedside. clarke wakes up and is like "this smitten dork" and lexa pretends she had nothing to do with it until clarke kisses her and she can't help smiling and giving it away

soft!clexa since you're bored?? clarke can tell when lexa is stressed or worn out from being heda and sometimes she just reaches over under the table to take lexa's hand, rubs her thumb across the back of it, and she can feel lexa's whole body soften

Prismacolor lesbian or faber castell lesbian !!!! shit okay so for art we were all supposed to use these fancy austrian colored pencils that have grown on me a lot, but i would say prismacolor because their colored pencils are so good. faber castell’s erasers that come with their pencil sets are really nice though

Jazz lesbian or swing lesbian swing because 1. swing dancing is really fun and 2. i’m still bitter about the fact that someone told me “‘clarinets can’t play jazz”“. and there was this one jazz band concert that i played in but had to watch the rest of and i stg there were only five pieces being preformed but it felt like it went on for hours…
