My favorite work so far of leather work. Latigo leather case, pigskin lining on top inside, Japanese cloth lining on inside of main case, cork lining under cloth, aluminum tube as base of main case (custom cut for my flute size by a fly fishing rod manufacturer), all hand stitched, burnished edges, treated all leather with needsfoot oil, brass fittings, added grove as accent in a couple places, handle made from 4 pieces to give a briefcase look that is handmade, molded end caps with water/ bone folder/ baked in oven to harden, add top coat of clear gloss. I remade several of the parts 4 to 5 times to get them just right. Thanks for advice from Wayne at http://www.yelp.com/biz/tricks-of-the-trade-berryville and videos by Ian Atkinson http://www.youtube.com/user/satansbarber Remade the case in Feb. 2014 to restitch without knots, add carnauba cream, move keep for head piece, add a stick/cleaner holder, and other small upgrades.
