In May of 2016, while the Snowboarder Magazine team was busy setting up Superpark, a crew of Flux riders.
Shaun Murphy, Scotty Vine, Mike Gray, Buzz Holbrook, Jake Scheible descended on Mammoth Mountain’s Main Park to spend a few days getting their show dialed in. It was just your everyday springtime “Mammoth Main Event.”

An absolutely stellar group of snowboarders including Ian Sams, Shaun Murphy, Tyler Lynch, Justus Hines, Ryan Tarbell, Erik Leon, Alex Hereford and Lenny Mazzotti all met up at Squallywood better known as Squaw Vally USA for some Tahoe springtime, good times in what is just a really fun park at a mountain that’s better known for its steep and deep. No matter where you are in the world, you always… “Should Have Gone To Squaw!”

[ Flux Renamed | Mount Snow ] While much of the planet was seeing, flat-out, the worst winter ever, the Flux team on the East Coast was slaying powder day after powder day and ripping one of the best parks available anywhere. Ian Sams bailed out on snow-starved SoCal and headed to Mountain Snow, Vermont to connect with Zach Wilmot, Shaun Murphy, Steve Lauder and Lucas Mohr and the crew put a major hurt on the solid Carinthia Parks. Hammer after hammer got dropped in the fourth and final episode of the Flux ReNamed series, Mountain We Found Snow!

No matter where you take the team in the depths of winter, it’s always nice to get back home and Back to Bear Mountain to the best terrain park on the planet. I’s just a fact that this special place is where these riders can excel the most and just have fun snowboarding and landing proper trick after proper trick.

[ Flux Bindings ReNamed - Mount Snow Spring Broke ]

A snowboarder’s Spring Break congers up visions of warm sunny weather, slushy snow conditions and ripping up the local terrain park all day with the homies. At the end of the winter of 2015, fun parks, open late were few and far between. So some snow starved Western US Flux team riders including Blake Axelson, Erik Leon and Scotty Vine loaded up and headed to Mount Snow, Vermont and the Carinthia Parks, one of the only zones that had a good winter, to meet up with Steve Lauder, Lucas Mohr, Zach Wilmot and Shaun Murphy. The mixed crew ripped the last remaining snow patches and a variety of features and obstacles as creativity ensued with setups and riding. The party was on and the good times rolled despite things never quite being as the crew anticipated. Spring Break #FluxReNamed the Mount Snow Spring Broke sessions. [ Flux Bindings ReNamed - Japan Mini Movie ]
For 2015, Flux has been ReNamed with a new video series vision beginning with the Japan Mini Movie staring American riders, Tyler Lynch, Shaun Murphy and Ian Sams and Japanese riders, Atsushi Hasegawa, Isao Seki, Keita Inamura, Yosuke Hayashi, Yuma Abe and Yuya Akada. Japan got buried with snow again this year so when Spring hit, Tyler, Shaun and Ian packed up their gear and headed to the Land of the Rising Sun and to bring on the meltdown and lay waste to the some stunning urban environments along with a wild crew of crazy Japanese shredders. You have been warned… prepare to be #FluxReNamed.
