First edit of the year was playing with settings on my basic editing software on photos taken in the dark. Was interesting and really joyful watching as the photo I didn’t think was very clear become something clear, colourful and I’m pleased with how it turned out for us! The photo having been taken in the dark with no flash while balancing on something for me to have a timer take the shot for us after con in October last year. Just shows how you can make something from anything and I’m pleased with the result. The first photo is the edit compared to the original! Was nice seeing the improvement in the shot side by side! 💚 Was also nice being able to take a nice photo of our Team FNKI cosplay of our own to play with! Now, here's a duo I wish we could see more of! Flynt Coal was my favorite Vytal Festival Tournament competitor, and I was disappointed that we didn't get to see him or Neon in Volume 4 while Weiss was in Atlas. I think they could become friends, and I'd love to see how they'd inspire each other fighting side by side instead of against each other. After all, they do share vaguely similar backgrounds, being musically inclined and coming from families in the dust business. Weiss x Flynt is one of the few Weiss ships I actually like, too. :p (If anyone cares, that ship name is Cool Jazz). As a musician, I'd love to see them experiment with each other's preferred genres in their downtime. Perhaps Flynt could give Weiss some pointers on jazz singing (or piano), and she could have him play a trumpet obbligato when singing the Remanant equivalent of an oratorio. It was great to see a Flynt cosplayer at CAD! I know he's a minor character that we'll probably never see again, so it's nice for him to get some recognition. The RWBY Olympics series continues with Flynt representing the USA! Given his proficiency in jazz trumpet, Flynt was a natural choice for the USA, as jazz is a uniquely American musical genre. 🎶🎺🎶 Flynt was a lot of fun to work on. I love his outfit, and as a musician, myself, it was neat drawing his trumpet (even though the trumpet is also a gun). The flag has all 50 stars, too. 🇺🇸 *** So, I’m one of the admins on a RWBY fan page on Facebook (it’s “Zwei - RWBY” if you want to check it out), and we’ve decided to do a special series for the Olympics. There’s not much in the way of Olympic-themed RWBY art out there, so the task has fallen to me to make some! This is my first foray into digital art, and it’s pretty exciting! I’ve been using the AutoDesk Sketchbook app on my tablet.
