The RWBY Olympics series continues with Flynt representing the USA! Given his proficiency in jazz trumpet, Flynt was a natural choice for the USA, as jazz is a uniquely American musical genre. 🎶🎺🎶 Flynt was a lot of fun to work on. I love his outfit, and as a musician, myself, it was neat drawing his trumpet (even though the trumpet is also a gun). The flag has all 50 stars, too. 🇺🇸 *** So, I’m one of the admins on a RWBY fan page on Facebook (it’s “Zwei - RWBY” if you want to check it out), and we’ve decided to do a special series for the Olympics. There’s not much in the way of Olympic-themed RWBY art out there, so the task has fallen to me to make some! This is my first foray into digital art, and it’s pretty exciting! I’ve been using the AutoDesk Sketchbook app on my tablet.

The RWBY Olympics series continues with Scarlet representing the UK! Scarlet’s voice actor is English, and the character is based on Peter Pan, a novel by English author J. M. Barrie. *** So, I’m one of the admins on a RWBY fan page on Facebook (it’s “Zwei - RWBY” if you want to check it out), and we’ve decided to do a special series for the Olympics. It’s not just because of her name, though “Noraway” is a pretty funny pun. ;) Nora is based on Thor, the thunder god of Norse mythology. *** So, I’m one of the admins on a RWBY fan page on Facebook (it’s “Zwei - RWBY” if you want to check it out), and we’ve decided to do a special series for the Olympics. The RWBY Olympics series continues with Ren representing Japan! Ren is actually based on the Chinese heroine Mulan, but we chose Japan to honor Monty Oum, creator of RWBY and Ren’s voice actor, as well as his brother Neath, who took on the role after Monty’s passing, since they are of Japanese heritage. Ren’s pose is based on the Tai Chi pose “snake that creeps through the grass, referencing his fight with the King Taijitu in the Emerald Forest. *** So, I’m one of the admins on a RWBY fan page on Facebook (it’s "Zwei - RWBY” if you want to check it out), and we’ve decided to do a special series for the Olympics. The RWBY Olympics series continues with Weiss representing Germany! Weiss is of course based on the German fairy tale Snow White, and her name is literally just two German words. Unsurprisingly, I had a lot of fun with her.
