I'm so happy for you that Air Control is now canon! (Air Control is what I call the PilotxWatcher ship; you know, because air control watches pilots) Congrats!
Thanks everyone, it really means a lot
Bro, Air Control is a really good name for it as well

Did Arcann die in your universe? By Relu or Merkara's hand? It's chilling to think of Relu making his promise true.
If it were entirely up to Relu, Arcann would be very dead. Relu doesn't ever forgive him. But Relu isn't the only one making decisions in the Alliance, so this whole situation with determining Arcann's fate ends up being out of his hands. Here I talk in more detail about what happens with Arcann and why, but the gist is that he stays alive. And even though Relu is pissed about this outcome, it's kinda better for him this way. He is always one step away from falling to the dark side as it is, so fulfilling his promise to Arcann would have pushed him so far that he would have never recovered. And dark Relu is a terrifying thing (You can get a glimpse of it when he interrogates captives from Zakuul, and he's not even dark there)

I feel there's some poetry and feelings to be described with Eris and Vector after the supply of Ziost caf runs out in the galaxy after it's destruction.
Okay so I had to ask my mom who actually drinks coffee (I do not) and thus actually knows things about it how coffee named after places works, and it turns out that a) the breed of plant the beans came from did originate in the place it’s named after, and b) they are typically grown there because if you move them, the growing conditions are different and that makes it taste different so it no longer tastes like that kind of coffee, but c) if you theoretically had another place with the same growing conditions, and you moved the plants there and started growing them there, it would taste more or less the same and it would still be considered that kind of coffee despite not being grown in the place it’s named after.
All of that to say: In theory, Ziost caf might still be available, but it would probably be pretty hard to find exactly the same growing conditions, so it would probably come at a premium. Or I can make something up about how it was truly exclusively Ziosti because the Ziost growers refused to let their plants be grown on other planets for money reasons, so while people might be able to eventually recreate the breed on planets with similar climates, for the moment it actually is gone.
Damn, I might actually have to write a one-shot on this now, that’s a good idea.
Cullen's VA always has been a douchenuzzle and posted white bro dude shit against 'SJW's and so. Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah, directors at Bioware, just resigned, and the latter, given he's not an EA employee anymore, just told him to eat a dick and good luck finding a new job.
AKFJDJJWJF i knew C*llen's VA was an asshole but i didn't make the connection with D*rrah LOL this IS quite cathartic!!!!
Ship stuff 8, 9, 12 and 24 for Trick and Tav!
@flytehwire
Thanks for the ask! Ah yes, these two. From here
Hell, yo @trafuris relevant to your interests.
8. What were their first impressions of each other?
Well...not great. Two dead Sith in the backroom of a seedy Nar Shaddaa cantina later, and the only reason Tavon doesn’t attack her with intent next is because she’s made it obvious she’s not an average Jedi and amenable to negotiations. He acknowledges she is likely to be a useful ally and certain other friends in high places he has would probably like to meet her.
Trick didn’t want any part of the Imperial fight she stumbled in on, she was just after an artifact the Sith had, but got roped into it when said Sith decided she was more of a threat than the agent. Rightly a mistake, they were both pretty equal threats. Still, when Tav didn’t attack her and instead offered her a deal, she figured she’d see where it led and have a good time relentlessly teasing this agent with a stick up his ass.
Her perception very quickly changed to wanting to help this agent with a stick up his ass instead because she recognized there was a lot more going on with him than usual Imperial stuffiness. He obviously warmed up to it eventually.
9. Have they made each other cry?
...No?
They’re both very adept at avoiding and/or handling the copious amount of landmines the other has. I guess technically Tav does once, when he sort of stumbles upon Trick’s history of being born a slave and brings it up before she’s ready to talk about it. But there’s a lot going on there that fuels that besides just him and, unfortunately, from a meta perspective...that’s the only landmine that needs to be stepped on to such a degree.
Besides that though, I guess the option is there for either of them crying over the other out of worry, but there’s also a sense of confidence in each other that usually prevents that as well. And there’s levels of communication and understanding and respect between the two of them that prevent that anything else from happening, even in the beginning. 99% of the tears in the relationship come from Trick, and that’s because she’s a happy crier.
Despite how messed up they are as individuals, they are actually really healthy together.
12. Do they have differing political opinions?
That’ll happen when you’re from opposing factions. Though, by the time they meet in canon, both are pretty disillusioned with their respective faction. He’s gone through the trauma of being Cipher Nine and is fed up with the Sith and how the Empire is run and she’s given everything she has to the Order and the Republic as Barsen’thor and still they ask for more. Though they each have misgivings about the other and the other’s faction too. He hates the Republic/Order for what they did to him and she still harbors ill will towards the Empire for a system that bore her into slavery.
Despite this, they and their ideals are not as different as it would seem at first glance, and they each ease the other’s apprehensions. He grows to not hate the Republic, and she grows to let go of her past with the Empire. With it, Tav continues to grow and exhibit his restraint because of her and he helps Trick comes to terms with the violence and deception she committed/will commit that their goals necessitate.
It’s all about meeting in the middle.
24. What is something they have each had to forgive the other for?
Trick had to forgive him for his initial hostility towards her and kinda maybe wanting her dead. She does it with ease though, he had his reasons and she knows it. Honestly, when they become friends she finds it funny. When they do finally get together, she finds it downright hysterical and definitely brings it up a few times when the moment is right for some dark humor.
Tavon...I dunno, Trick’s kind of a saint :p. I’m sure there are some misunderstandings and miscommunications along the way that he has to forgive her for. And the aforementioned backstory incident. He technically commits the initial faux pas (and she does forgive him for that), but he does come to forgive her for some of the things she said in the aftermath. Trick is mean when backed into a corner like that and very sharp with her words. She definitely says some things in the moment that she comes to deeply regret.
Regarding the tag, Janany does have his wife to teach him from zero too :D
Absolutely, plus the faces of awe he makes at lifting a grape with his mind give her life
