A handler on the deck of USS Anizo, CVE-57, directs an FM-2 Wildcat during flight operations circa MAY1945 off the coast of Okinawa. USS Anizo, was originally laid down as Alikula Bay in 1943 at a Kaiser Shipyard in Vancouver, WA. The had her name changed to Coral Sea.
