me: wow, school is horrible for my mental health and is making me want to kill myself. i should take a semester off.

also me: but you're only 7 classes away from graduating. you have a student job so if you leave school you’ll have to find a new job. if you aren’t a full time student next semester you’ll have to start paying student loans. you need a degree to work in the career you want so you’ll have to go back to working customer service. you’ll have irregular hours and have to deal with shitty customers who will also be horrible for your mental health and make you want to kill yourself.
