Fo2 companions reacting to the Chosen One crashing the highwayman please! luckily avoiding any serious injuries
It makes me really happy when the classic games are still shown love- it really speaks to their quality that people are still fans of them even twenty years on. The Fallout 2 companions especially are a fun bunch...
In all honesty, this should have been expected- it wasn’t like Arroyo had a driving school.
Barely a mile down the road from the Den, the Chosen One had managed to swerve their brand-new car right into a cactus. The dry cactus crumpled under the weight of two tons of steel, and all would have been fine... had the Chosen One not then overcorrected and driven into a rock immediately afterward.
Cassidy was sprawled over the dashboard, unwilling to move before the initial pain subsided completely. “Damn it... I got into a crash just like this back in ‘03...” Wincing, he gradually peeled himself off the dashboard, rubbing at his aching joints. “...Still better than Vault City.”
Goris’ cloak was shaken loose in the initial impact, leaving the massive deathclaw fully exposed- which was almost as much of a shock to him as the crash. He lost his footing on the car, writhing around in the dust as he tried to rationalize what had just happened. “Ah! What-” It took a while for him to get to his feet, looking about as embarrassed as a seven-foot-tall biologically engineered killing machine could. “...Oh, how silly of me. Maybe I should drive next time?”
Lenny was catapulted to the back seats, where he quickly attempted to right himself. “E-everything hurts... b-but then again, e-everything was hurtin’ a-anyway. Ow. F-feel like a herd’a brahmin j-just trampled me half to d-damn death.”
Marcus' grip on the roof slipped, and he was sent flying over the hood. He hit the ground hard- but he was as resilient as ever, simply getting up and dusting himself off. “Well, that was fun. I figured there was probably some reason these things weren’t so popular. Guess we just found out.”
Myron staggered away from the car, holding an absolutely tiny cut on his forehead like it was a gaping wound. “Fuck, man! Fuck! My face! Get me some meds, you idiot, I’m dying over here!”
Skynet had flipped onto its side, leaving its treads spinning in the empty air. “Chassis damage: 10.6% Eradicate obstacle. Skynet will be victorious!”
Sulik just sat there for a while, letting the New California sun beat down on him. "You see now why we not trust metal caravan. Something that easy, always comes with price. Price here? Humiliation. Now we walk.”
Kinda poorly made??? Animatic thing??
