Chapter Eight has officially arrived. It has… a number of significant plot developments, which I hope you’ll enjoy. There are around 132,000 new words, spread across six routes with some common elements, as always.
Also as always, if anything seems to not work, or you have some feedback you’d like to give, please let me know! Otherwise, I’ll just keep on plodding forward, as I do.
The game is in the usual place, now with a chapter skip feature by popular demand.
my beloved fine ass springtime family!!!!!! lets be carbon copies of each other and make mama fondly reminisice the past with papa!!!!!! (bust doodles after catching up with the last two botl chapters @chrysanthemumgames)
I’ve been having a really hard time being creative for the last few years so it’s actually so fitting that I finished this just as a new year was beginning!
These are my two Persephone’s from Fields of Asphodel by @chrysanthemumgames. Because they’re both Persephone, I just call the left one Femme and the right one Masc lol
Femme has RBF but her magic gives away how she’s feeling by manipulating how big she is at any given moment. Kind of like how pufferfish expand or how frilled lizards expose their frills when they’re threatened? If she’s upset or angry or in any kind of distress, she gets BIG and considering she’s perpetually uncomfortable in the Underworld, she’s usually pretty large all the time. It’s very amusing to me. She’s closest with Hekate, Charon and Hades and I’m using her to slowly lower Alekto’s defenses and she’s only ever at her smallest when she’s with her
As for Masc, that’s a golden retriever. She loves to make people laugh almost as much as she likes to fight! She’s also such a plant dad. She’s bright, cheery and besties with Alekto, Pyri and Hermes. She and Hekate probably can’t keep their hands off of one another. She’s also like, soooo visibly gay that I just imagine Hades coming to pick her up on Olympus and being like “…you know that’s a lesbian, right???”
I really miss drawing and reading interactive fiction so I’m glad I’m getting back into it
